Why do Christians today not concern themselves with Jesus life but only his death? The Bible is missing 18 years of the life of Jesus, and his ministry in Judea only lasted 3.5 years, yet the Gospel of John states that Jesus did so many things that it would not fill all the books in the world, and that's after only 3.5 years of his ministry.

Why do most Christians today not care about those lost years, and what he did and stood for? Are they scared they may find something they don't like, like the fact that Jesus went east to study God and learn about God in different religions? Are people scared that Christianity is based more on Eastern religions than they want to admit? Hiding their heads in the ground does not kill the truth.

This is the reason I read books concerning Jesus and his teachings outside of traditional Christianity, gnostic/Eastern. I supplement the Bible with these, as this paints a truer picture of Jesus Christ. I'm glad I did, I know my Saviour AND Master

You seem to be troubled about so little. I don't worry about all of this stuff. I figure He can tell me when I get Home.

Does it matter just like the world looking and guessing?

Christians do care and have a interest.. they are lead by the spirit of God....the spirit confirms and renews ones way of thinking.

Jesus knew what was in man from the beginning of time. nothing man does or say is a surprise to God. He said if you have known me you would have known the Father. Funny those years were not lost...God knows and if you pay attention I am sure you would gain knowleged when reading the parables. Jesus spoke in parables and the beattitudes. He learned a lot through observation...go figure.

Jesus was born of a virgin
Joesph was a carpenter
Mary had children by Joesph
Jesus (12) confounded the religious leaders for the first time (not lost)
Jesus begins ministry to Israel.Israel rejects the Messiah as the OT said they would.
Jesus heals, raises the dead, feeds thousands with little.
Jesus (not PC gentle and kind as those who say they don't believe in Him say He was[what?] rebuked those who tried to follow their own religious views and denied the truth.
Jesus was mocked, beaten "to a pulp",and died the most horrific method of torture ever used for punishment (crucifixion).
He died and went to Hell (the lake of fire) for three days.Jesus rose from the dead because death couldn't hold Him (He was and always will be the only sinless person on earth). He paid for all sin.
All Jesus ask is to accept His forgiveness.(God will not allow anyone who wants to continue to sin in Heaven. The unrepentive will choose to go to the lake of fire to be with the devil and his demons.

Christianity has been changed many times, the Bible has been edited many times during the centures so to suit the people who edited their way of life, thats why many born Christians become former Christians & their ancesters former Christians, they realise that they DONT know Jesus's true message, what he said through God or what he didnt say trhough God., early Christians believed Jesus was not crucufied, early Christians believed Jesus was not the son of God, the bible, Gospel were written way after the time when Jesus lived, so people lose faith in this and look eslewhere or dont even follow/pratice the religion, by the way that theory of Jesus going East to Kashmir etc, is all made up by the British who who ruled India, but the natives follishly believed this lol, as they were weak minded people, the British just wanted the natives to convert to Christianity so they made up this Jesus surviing & living in Kashmir so make divisions with other religons in that area, but as i said some of the natives (Minority) actually belived this as they were people who were worshipping elephants, stones, cows so it wasnt suprising they accepted this, im sure the people who even preached to this to them were even laughing lol, but if it was so big then y is it the minority of people who believe what r u saying, the majority of people are more right, accurate then minority of people, no matter what they believe in, follow , etc, its the weak minded, gullable people, outcastes, rejects, lol, accept reality man, accept life, accept facts, stats, truth & move on, i pray for u, PEACE".

Luke 2:42-50-- Mary and Joseph took 12-yr-old Jesus to the temple for Passover... Part way home, Mary and Joseph discovered that Jesus wasn't with them. They went back, searched for him, and found him in the temple speaking with the elders. "How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?"

Luke 2:52-- "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." Huh-- He got smarter, taller, more blessed, and people liked Him.... or at least He developed social suavy.

What great contribution did you make to society between the ages of 3 and 23?... yeah, I didn't do a whole lot, either.

If you're talking about His early years after His birth, Herod was killing all the young children to prevent the prophesy of Jesus coming true. So, Jesus and His family went to Egypt to escape death. While in Egypt, I am sure He studied and learned trades, like carpentry, as we all did when we were younger. By the way, Egypt is WEST of Jerusalem. not East...:) Thanks and have a great day!!

I really doubt that you know anything truthful about those years.

The only ones who did were the Blessed Virgin Mary, and St. John, in whose care Jesus placed her after he ascended to heaven, and they opted to keep the matter private, probably because there wasn't much going on in Nazareth during that time, anyway.

Jesus came to suffer and to die, as the one time, once for all, perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world.

When the proper time came, he accomplished his mission, and his Father raised him up again from the dead, just as predicted.

That is all that matters ... not idle speculation from revisionist historians and quasi-theologians.

Because I cant trust the sources. I see enough garbage on the history channel, so I will just stick to the Bible. If God wanted those years availible, he wouldnt have hid them for 2000 years.

I am very interested in knowing all about Jesus' whole life. Not just his life as a baby, but all of it - his years as a child, teenager and young man. But I do defer to the fact that Jesus Himself said, "The things I hear my Father say and do, I say and do." Jesus kept the teachings of the old testament (the Torah), and the bible says He knew no sin. The bible also lists as one of the commandments that we are to worship no other God than YHWH - the God that Jesus identified as His Father. Yes, I do absolutely believe that Jesus was able to minister with a full heart of complete love, mercy and wisdom to every person He came into contact with, including those who did not keep the Torah. But Jesus did it by introducing the heart of the Torah to these people. He Himself said that He did NOT come to do away with the Torah, but to fulfill (or literally COMPLETE it). The only way to fulfill or complete the Torah is to obey it. Jesus obeyed God's Torah ("instructions") because He understood the love with which all of God's instructions were given. The instructions were given to keep us safe and protect us from lies in a world full of untruths. YHWH is the only true God. But I will agree that many religions have very valid truths written in them. Jesus NEVER had a controversy with the practices people kept that were right! So I think what you are seeing in your research is NOT that Jesus had mixed religious doctrine. What He had was perfect communion with God, which gave Him insight into every heart that He was dealing with for His Father's sake. He looked past the errors and encouraged them in the truth because His Father loves them and pursues them to win them all! So being cruel to someone or exclusive against their beliefs only serves to shut the person down to the message of hope Jesus would've been wanting to convey. So the higher good was to LOVE them. Which He always did. And yes, He corrected their errors in doctrine. He didn't ever, ever compromise. If He did in just ONE area, then He sinned, and the world has no savior. But the bible declares Him "The Savior of ALL men, especially those that believe." In your research, that is the Savior and Master you are seeing. He kept and always will keep the Torah: "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away" God declared. That's because the Torah is the words of righteousness and life given to mankind by our God who loves us and only seeks our good. That's why the words never will go away, and we are still obligated to follow them. Only if we sin do we have an advocate on our side for transgressing the instructions of God. But they always will be the Torah's instructions.

so let me get this straight: you want them to record every single aspect of Jesus' life? the Protestant Bible is already about 31,200 verses on average. the Catholic is about 32000. the Orthodox is about 35000. you want us to have many more books to try and memorize?

God doesn't manifest Himself as many deities. God is not a God of confusion, but of order. considering that
a) a Jew would be shunned for interacting with gentiles peacebly
b) Mary and Joseph aparently didn't like Him to wander off
c) Roman society prohibitted its citizens from leaving

I highly doubt Jesus got to go to India, China, etc.
