if some of my clothes stay too long at the bottom of the basket and if it happens to stay wet mildew starts to grow and it ruins the clothing with little black dots...is there any way to save the clothing with any laundry tricks?

Bleach pen works great to get current stains out, but if you're in an area that is suseptible to getting mildew on clothing, use 1/2 cup of salt in the wash cycle.

Once mildew gets on them they are trashed. I had not noticed a wet bathing suit in the hamper and on laundry day I noticed it made one of my white towels have black spots all over it. I tried everything...nothing worked. Make sure you never put anything wet in the hamper again!

1/2 cup of borax in the wash
1 cup of white vinegar in the rinse
Dryer Max Dryer Balls in the dryer

Whites spray some oven cleaner on it and wash in hot water.Colors I would just wash in hot and color fast bleach.Try the oven cleaner if it is lost anyway....

if it is white, you can use bleach. im not pos. on this, but all fabric bleach may work for colored items.
