DUI Court?

Ok, I live in Alabama and got a DUI a month or so ago. I only had one beer and it was in the car with me. I refused the breath test because I was told that I could get a DUI with one beer and that it was best to not blow and go to court because I have a fighting chance. Is this true? Also if I cannot afford a lawyer will they give me one? If I end up guilty with pleading not guilty make it worse on me? Thanks ahead of time!

Since when did it become 25 million?

When I first joined YA and read pat buchannans State of Emergency it was roughly 12 to 15 then a few weeks back it was 20 millions now I just heard 25 million. seriously people let's start using real and accurate numbers not sensationalist numbers.

I had to have a c-section and have so many regrets about it. Has anyone else been through this?

My first child was an emergency c-section my second was planned. I feel like I wasn't able to give birth and it's caused me a lot of sadness. I have feelings of being a failure and less of a person sometimes. When I hear of other people having natural births I feel envious and sad that my experience was so traumatic. Has anyone that has had a c-section experienced these types of feelings? If so how did you work through them?

What's more important in the mechanics of a fan blade? Speed, (RPMs) or the angle and/or curvature?

Also, I was wondering how exactly a fan blade does its job- does it catch the air, does it create a vacuum effect, pulling the air forward, what exactly is that piece of plastic doing to move those air molecules? Does it work on the same principle of an airplane's wing?

ALSO: If the temperature is the average kinetic energy, why does the air feel COOLER when it is moving FASTER than the air around it? Is it that the air flow is absorbing the heat energy, and more air is coming to absorb more?

Why so many roads and highways are so poorly designed?

I hate when I have to make an exit and a bunch of traffic is entering the highway just before the exit. It seems illogical. Why not make it so that cars exit BEFORE new cars enter the highway.

Can't uninstall Nero?

What does this mean?

So after summer school, I was waiting for my mom to come pick me up. I was standing there w/ a a group of my friends..

and this guy came up to me and he was like "Do you remember me?" And I was like "noo..." -and he kept going on- and he was like "Just kidding! Give me a hug! Everytime you see me you should give me a hug"

And i dont even know him. and dont say that he wasnt joking about me not remembering him, he really was.

REALLY PARANOIDDD ?

okay me and this guy met on a cruise. we had a thing, and weve been in contact for 10 months now. in 2 months..i happen to be going to college near where he lives, and he knows this. about two months ago we were on the phone with eachother and he said "lets keep this long distance relationship going"..meaning lets keep in touch and i thought he meant then when i get there to college hed want a relationship with me.

im just really paranoid, and i get scared, what happens if he gets a gf..do you think he would? what would it mean if he does?

My daughter has been diagnosed with brain atrophy...?

she started having seizures, unknown cause, cat scan showed brain atrophy, have told her , her brain is like an old persons.
She is 27, bi polar for years, past drug addict.

Has anyone else heard of this?

Does a 9-year-old who has only lost 6 teeth need a palatal expander for a crossbite?

My son will soon be 9, and we were told that he needs a palatal expander to help his crossbite. He has only lost 6 teeth so far. The orthodontist said that he would need the expander for 6 months, then would have to wear a retainer. He did not mention braces, but the office manager kept referring to the treatment as "Phase I" and mentioned braces a few times. Phase I will cost $1500 for this 6 month treatment. Do you think this is appropriate at this point?
