It's a Holiday of Obligation in England and Wales.

Pastor Art, it matters to Catholics in England and Wales whether you agree with them or not.

My Outlook calendar has it as a holiday in Peru and Chile.

Does it matter?

The Bible says that religious feasts don't matter any more. See Colossians chapter 2.

If God says it doesn't matter and your church says it does matter, then you are attending the wrong church.
