Fade with them, and they'll come to you.

Jeez, tough crowd...

If this person or event is one that you think you must hold onto, then reviewing it on a regular basis may help keep it fresh. If you have a one of a kind physical item to remind oneself of the person or event , you might be able to train yourself to think or remember this person or time. Perhaps you might look at what it is that you like or dislike when you remember this person. Is it an unresoved question, a feeling of being loved or something else important to you?

write them down and draw little picture and keep trinkets from the time of the memory, and put them away in a box and forget about them until you discover them again in the future and it will all come back to you again! Its great forgetting about something and then finding something that brings it all back :)

Put pen to paper......

There is no question
of choice, but it takes
a long time.
Love's vacancies, the eye
and cavity, track
back to embraces
where the spine bends
and quietens
like smoke in the earth.
Your tongue, touching on a song,
darkens all songs. Your touch
is almost a signature.

I refuse to admit they will fade. I relive them, again, again, unntil its like they just happened. I won't let them fade. I want them to stay with me forever. That's how I hold on.

I refuse, relive, relapse, but do not release.

Remember them, if they're in the front of your mind they'll stay. If you let them fade back, they fade away
