Can genital warts be confused with genital herpes or vice versa? How often do genital warts re-occur?

No genital herpes and genital warts look completely different. They shouldn't be confused at all!

Genital herpes are caused by the herpes simplex virus. It causes large blister like sores. They can be very red, swollen, and the sores can break open and puss. They are EXTREMELY painful. The first outbreak can last for weeks with medication and even longer without it.

Genital warts are caused by HPV. They are usually very small, flesh colored, and painless. They can be very itchy and annoying, but are usually not painful. They can appear in clusters or alone. The do NOT open and puss, because they are NOT sores. They are small bumps or raises in the skin.

It's estimated anywhere from 30 - 50% of people who have had genital warts and had them treated end up developing them again and have to be treated again. I have personally only had genital warts once, had them treated with Aldara cream, and have luckily never had them come back!

I hope that helped answer your question!

Yes, there isn't any. Herpes is caused by a virus. Actually, there is little cure for viruses nowadays. The only thing that you can generally do in the case of a viral infection is strengthen the immune system and hope it fights it off. Not with Herpes, the immune system can't win against it. Thus you only get to treat the symptoms. Once you're infected, it stays with you for life. So don't get infected.

Personal experience. I have had genital herpes for over 5 years.

No. Genital warts and and genital herpes have two very different kind of bumps. Genital warts are sharp opposed to the rounded herpes bumps. Genital warts itch but they don't burn (unless you have treatment on them) while genital herpes lesions usually burn and itch. Genital warts usually stay until treated but there are cases where they have disappeared on it's own without any treatment. After being treated for genital warts, the warts rarely ever come back. Genital herpes lesions usually disappear within 3 weeks.

Genital warts HPV there are 100 strains. High risk cause cervical/anal cancer. Low risk genital warts. People can be exposed to more then one hpv types which explains why 10% of people arnt able to get rid of the infection. It is on the skin mucosa. Not in the blood stream unlike herpes simplex 2 which is in the blood and produced by fluids and hides in the nerves cells, many adolescence are able to fight off hpv in low levels that ist isn't undetectable it isn't sure if it goes away completly the low and high risk strains yet many are lucky and are able to kill the virus before producing symtoms. Herpes simplex 2 does not cause cancer and it isn't rid by the immune system even tho there isn't signs you can still pass it on since its fluid,. HPV its said that a person isn't contagiouse after 3 yeas. After doing research it is known that they are different viruses but arnt curable. Were not sure if hpv is but there are cervical screening exams for those who are or had hpv to check up.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/herpesCures2o15jU1f

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Moles, warts, and skin tags are common skin wounds that develop naturally. While they are usually non malignant, they could be embarrassing if located on an obvious part including the face. Epidermis wounds like moles and warts cause self-confidence issues to the sufferers. An individual with moles normally becomes a loner since they don't really wish to be observed in public. They think ashamed to be out in public, so depression may normally follow but now you can change all this with this particular information from here https://tr.im/4PHSS , Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal eBook.
