this subject really gets me ..

I once won a competition to meet princess anne.. (i didnt know what the prize was otherwise i would not have done it) and i had to curtsy to her. i just thought it was rediculous because she isnt anything special, why should i have to curtsy to this one woman when i dont have to with everyone else!!

A couple years ago, OsteoValin was advertised as the replacement for other osteoporsis drugs. It was reported to increase bone mass without any side effects.
Now it has disappeared off the shelves of WalMarts and pharmacies. Any ideas why it has disappeared?

Im sick of it, ages on hold, finally connected to someone i cant understand!!!!!
Whats the worst offender in your oppinion?
My personal fave is talktalk, 20 mins on hold, couldnt understand what she/he was saying, told them my broadband was still not active after 2.5 months, was then told i was lying.

I think the first thing a support centre should do is support its users! How can that happen if you cant understand what is being said!!!!!!

Okay, I have a real basic understanding of how particle accelerators ( "atom smashers" for us older folks ) work. I know you shoot two beams of protons into a big racetrack ( basicallly ) in oppsosition to one another, use big ol' magnets to make them go really really fast, then when they hit they pop apart and make all kinds of cooky sub particles, perfect liquids, nuons, and other scientific ...er.... small stuff.

Ok, anyway, I have always wondered where the proton that these guys shoot around the racetrack come from? Do they have a buckets of protons lying around? Do they make tweezers that small?

I just cant figure how how the process starts. How do the particles get into the accelerator to start the experiment?
