I recently heard a relatively old song and I was wondering who agrees with these lyrics....
Emptiness is loneliness
Loneliness is cleanliness
Cleanliness is Godliness
And God is empty just like me!

just my 2 cents ... I don't agree.... lonliness doesn't always =cleanliness. You can be lonley and filled with anger and bitterness... that is not cleanliness.... and God is far from empty....

Emptiness leads to loneliness, which leads to sexual cleanliness, which is associated with godliness (monks, nuns, abstinence). And he sums it up by saying god must be empty since he sees this cleanliness aka godliness as virtues, because emptiness is what leads one to live that lifestyle.

No, I don't agree with Billy Corgan on that. I sure did like the song "Zero" when I was an atheist, though.
