Her anal glands are full. Have a groomer or vet teach you how to take care of this.

You do not normally see the worms in the poo. All little puppy's need to be dewormed at this age. Go to the nearest vet and buy deworm pills. You don't have to make an appointment to see the vet, you can buy these pills at a chemist as well. If she doesn't get better after she's taken the pills, then take her to the vet. It could be that she is a bit constipated as well.

HM Her butt itches. Could be a couple of reasons -

Internal parasites - take her to the vet - bring a small sample of her poo with you for analysis. Yes it's gross - but necessary. Just a small sample will do - about a tablespoon - not the whole "pile." Just make sure it's as fresh as possible - and don't refrigerate it. Cold will cause any parasite eggs to deteriorate and make them difficult to spot. Just use a zip-top plastic bag for transport.

Impacted anal glands - take her to the vet and have them expressed (emptied). While you're there, have the vet teach you how to do this yourself. Yes, it's gross - but necessary.

There may also be other reasons why her butt itches - fleas, allergies, etc.

Your best bet is to take her to the Vet.

Most worms you cant see with your eye. Bring a stool sample into your vets and have them check form worms. Also she may have a anal gland problem and the need to be emptied. Only your vet can determine witch is the problem or possibly both.

Female dogs sometimes do this before they come into season. Something to do with their hormones apparently, cant be 100% sure but thats what I have been told. I am a breeder and noticed my bitches doing it a lot around that hormonal time.Blocked Anal glands are aslo a known cause of this behaviour. Check with your local vet.

Well, the only things that come to mind are worms or a need to express the anal glands. It's itching or irritating her.

You could treat her for worms even if you don't see any, as a precaution in case they are there and you just missed them.

You could give her a bath and pay special attention to washing the rump area.

You could also look for little white tape worms in case that's what she has.

Hello,
1. you cant tell if there are worms in her poo, even for the vet its "hit and miss"
2. it;s possibly blocked anal glands which can be easily emptied by your vet
you can observe and next time you can do it yourself :)
...btw, have you checked her skin/coat around her anal area?
There may be something embedded there

It could be fleas or just for fun but it could also be full anal glands. Take her to the vet they know what to do. Worms is also a possibility.

I would be assuming she is a small dog? I would say it is definately blocked anal glands. They need to be gently massaged to open.

A vet can show you how to do this and it needs to be done often for them.
