Actually and oddly yes.
It is extremely rare, though, and the female twin will have some genetic issues as a result. The way that it occurs is as follows:
It begins when one egg is fertilized by one sperm. This fertilized egg then splits into two babies, both male. During the dividing process, while 'normally' things would develop on track and the woman would have two male identical babies, in THESE situations, one of the babies loses half of his genetic code (the "Y" portion of the "XY" genetic code that makes the child male) and becomes a girl by default.
The problem here, however, is that most girls have two X genes (XX) and this girl only has one (X _ ), which means she will suffer from Turner's Syndrome.
So, yes, it is possible but VERY rare.

I think so.
"Monozygotic twins are genetically identical (unless there has been a mutation in development) and they are usually the same gender. (On extremely rare occasions, an original XXY zygote may form monozygotic boy/girl twins by dropping the Y chromosome for one twin and the extra X chromosome for the other. Some biologists also believe in the possibilty of the egg splitting first, then the two conceived eggs are separately semenated, resulting in identical appearance, but different gender) Monozygotic twins generally look alike. Fine physical details such as fingerprints will differ. As they mature, identical twins often become less alike because of lifestyle choices or external influences. Genetically speaking, the children of identical twins are half-siblings rather than cousins. It is estimated that there are around 10 million identical twins and triplets in the world."

No! The defination of "identical" isn't look-alike. Identical or fraternal twins mean that once the egg and sperm had fertillised it split into two separate balls of cells that developed into two separate embryos. Therefore whichever sex one of the twins are, the other has to be as well. Non-identical twins are when two separate eggs are fetillised by two separate sperm at the same time. This is the only time to can have twins of different sexes.

non identical twins can be different sexes. my friend is a twin and her twin is a boy. im a twin and my twin is a girl.

Not identical ones I'm afraid. non-identical twins can be different sexes, but identical ones are just that, identical in every way.

No. Identical twins are the result of a single fertilised egg splitting so both babies have exactly the same genetic make-up including their gender. Fraternal twins are the result of two eggs being fertilised by two sperm so can be very different or quite alike, but it's a lottery.

Not meaning to sound rude... But If they are identical they would have to be the same sex for the obvious reasons. Identically twins come from one egg and non identical come from two.

By definition no. Identical twins have identical genetic makeup and that would mean they would have to be the same sex.

No, Identical twins are made when i fertilized egg splits into two, which mean both are genetically the same, Which include sex, Fraternal twins (boy & girl; can also be same sex too), is when two separate eggs are fertilized, meaning each will have there own genetic traits.
