Please separate your question in the future.
Bats and cats are two totally different topics and your two questions should have been asked separately.
Below are websites that tell you how to get rid of bats.
On your cat, a deep utility tub or sink works best. Put a tiny amount of water in the bottom. Hold your cat by the nape of the neck and lather it up with cat shampoo. I only washed my cats ONCE as kittens because they had bad flea infestation and I used a flea shampoo and had to wash it out. Otherwise, cats are self-grooming and don't usually need to be washed.

If you are living in the U.K. don't mess with the bats they are a protected species. They won't be rabid - we don't have rabies in our bat population.
If they are a real problem, again in the UK, have a word with someone like Citizens Advice Bureau who may be able to put you in touch with an Authority who is allowed to remove them to another place.
When washing a cat - depends on the cat. Cats don't need washing - when they aren't sleeping they spend most of their day washing themselves.
We had a little white fluffy (very good natured) cat which used to think she could walk on water and ended up stinking and green from a fish pond several times. I stood her in the bath and sprayed her very gently - not into her face - then used liquid baby shampoo and again a gentle spray to rinse.
I wouldn't even think of getting near my big Abi tom cat with water unless i was wearing full body armour and had a paramedic standing by!

If you live in the UK bats are protected by law and you cannot touch them at all. You would have to contact your local RSPCA for advice on that.
As for washing your ***** cat, then the first thing you would need is a suit of armour to stop them scratching you to pieces! It's very hard to bathe a cat on your own, I used to get a flannel and just give my cat a wash like that. She would tolerate that without scratching my eyes out!

Bats: I'd call your local animal sanctuary relevant council. Personally I'd prefer to remove them than kill them, but personal choice.
Cats: Cats are like lions etc, they're not fans of taking a swim. Either take your cat to a groomer or try the pet wash wipes. You can get them from most pet shops for a couple of £ and my cat and my ex's 6 cats love them. They're kinda like baby wipes for cats and dogs :) Just wipe their fur down with one as if your stroking them. They seem to like the attention and don't realise they're being washed.
And you can also get brushes that you wear like a glove, so try one of those if your cat isn't grooming friendly.
Other than that, the only choice is a professional groomer.

You're asking 2 questions that don't seem to connect.
Bats in your house: call animal control, a local wildlife rehabber or an exterminator for suggestions. If there's an incidence of rabies in the area, the exterminator may be necessary.
Cat: if you've never washed your cat before, I'd suggest you take him/her to a groomer.

Cats...and...bats???
Bats are an endangered species, you robably are stuck with them as its against the law, including cutting down any trees they live in.
Grab your cat by the scrag... and dunk. If you're worried bout claws, wrap a tea towel round the neck and cover the feet.... works when giving tablets too!

Bats are a protected species in Britain and if you are caught harming them in any way, you will be prosecuted and liable fo a very heavy fine. Leave them where they are.
