My dog is simply wonderful! She is amazing to watch outside as she is fast and herds anything she can find. She is also highly intelligent and has an amazing sense of smell. Unfortunately, she has killed 2 rabbits, 2 squirrels and 1 rat in the past 2 days. I understand the breed and their need for activity and stimulation. What can I do to keep her busy while I am gone? I leave treats and chew toys, but it doesn't last all day. I am not able to come home during the day to play with her over lunch. What would be a good companion? If given nothing to "work on", she climbs over the fence and runs off or destroys anything she can find. I play with her when I get home, but I worry about her all day. So, companion? Toy that would serve as an enrichment activity? HELP ME and Bentley! :) (I'd buy a few cows if I could!)

Why do people assume that just because some of us are atheist, we are somehow affiliated with each other? Don't you think that the connection would be made that there is actually NOTHING linking us together other than our lack of beliefs?

My sister-in-law is getting married on August 10th and has just started to plan her wedding, and has asked for my help. She wants to do a medieval themed wedding with castles and dragons. So far the only ideas are to do a castle shaped wedding cake and pewter dragons for table centerpieces. She wants light purple, green, and white for her colors. And she loves lilacs but they aren't in season in August. The reception will be indoors in a church's multi-purpose room. The only thing provided are tables and chairs. I would appreciate any and all ideas!

I am not advocating a return to this practice, but does anyone recall in MLB they used to wear black leather shoes with what amounted to little steel knives on the bottom. It was even rumoured that some guys would sharpen them with a file. In those days, breaking up a double play usually consisted of sliding into second, foot high in the air, knives first. At almost every game at least once, the 2nd baseman or shortstop would be half-carried off the field with the bottom of his pants literally dripping blood. A little while later, the TV announcer would inform us that he took 13 or so stitches to the leg down in the locker room and yet the guy would be in the starting lineup the very next day. Even the catcher was not immune to the "flying knives of death", but he was somewhat protected by the shinguards.
This was in the days when the home plate umpire wore a chest protector that looked like he had a big thick mattress hanging around his neck.
Does anyone remember this stuff?

he can jump over the 51/2 feet tall gate from the two car garage and the 2nd garage, then it happens mostly when i go camping for the weekend and we leave them at home lots of food plenty of water and the back garage is open so they can run around, but he starts acting all weird when i go to bed and it is like 11 ish ( 11:00pm) my dog jumped over the gate, and now hes scratching at the window on the patio, and he broke the window screen 5 or 6 times already, and he doesnt listen when i say " bently come here" or when we let them out of the back yard and when i call for them to get back inside the back yard they never listen ( i have 2 dogs) what should i do!!!!!!!

I'm pissed. Pissed he kept f'ing up and pissed the Bears had to cut him cause the guy is a pretty damn good DT.

He and Tommy Harris plugging up the middle made their run D pretty bad a**.

They warned us that he had issues when they drafted him outta Washington. That was the ONLY reason he fell to the 2nd round.

Call a gd taxi if you need to get home after drinking. Not like the guy couldn't afford one. wtf. ****, ask any guy at that bar and they'd take him home just to shoot the **** with someone from the NFL.

What a waste of talent.

It seems to me that those cars you see with all the flags, ribbons, and stickers are some of the most inconsiderate drivers on the road. Are they filled with their emotion? Are political affiliations causing them anxiety? Are more of these people on their "own wagon"? What's the deal here?

I really want to lose 30-40 pounds in a month or two. I am 13, so I cant use pills or surgery, or buy anything. Please dont tell me its unhealthy or immpossable!!! I am a native Californian, but I had the opportunity to live in Dallas Texas and Jacksonville Florida and I can say without a doubt these are where the nicest people come from, they welcome you into there homes, smile at you on the street, will help you when your car breaks down ,are the ones who are the most family oriented, the ones who support there Collge and States Sports teams, they are the ones that produce the best singers we have in the Music Industry, Southern Hospitality and a love for GOD lives in the south...

There are many Christians in California but are afraid to speak there mind and are proably not as outspoken as me and the north proably has the higgest amount of atheists.

Do you live in a area with the majority being Christian, Jewish, Muslim or heathen?
