How can I remove the propeller shaft? I dond know if the washer claw is treaded or on pressure (puller) thank you!

On an Outboard or Inboard-Outboard, remove the propeller. Look inside and you see it use a special tool, hard to explain. Also, I think you have to drop the lower unit first, but, I not sure. But, it just unscrew, counter-clockwise.
I do have a Shop Manual for Evinrude/Johnson Outboards from 48-235 HP and 1973-1990?

and we "dond" know what you're talking about. is this on your ceiling fan??? only your tires are "treaded"! not the prop or the shaft.
