We were going to buy his house with a FHA mortgage under the conditions the appraiser approved it, we went to contract and put down almost $5000 deposit but then we had to move out of the rental we were in so the lawyer said we could rent the house we wanted to buy until we got the appraisal and approval. We signed a lease and used the contract deposit as a security deposit. There were alot of things he needed to do before we could get approval which he didn't. Long story short - appraiser wouldn't approve the house -landlord/lawyer didn't fix it up. We stayed six years it started falling apart and getting hazardous to live in, we gave notice and moved out , asked for our large deposit back several times never got answer or money. He refused our last certified mail request now it's almost a year later he hasn't been able to rent or sell and we need our deposit back. What should I know before I go to small claims court? I know he will have tricks up his sleeve.

Just to inform fellow sirs et madames who have been guilty of targetting because you happen to voice the wrong opinion...

Yesterday in answering a questions Who actually like B Manning? I put up my response which was actually critical...

This morning in my mail I recieved an email from "floppydick" a user on YA of course who said "see your account get suspended he he" .. I was surprised because actually I didnt think anything in my answer was offensive or even unacceptable...but later this afternoon I received a Yahoo Violation notice from YA....which deleted my answer in total...

I believe in freedom of speech and fair debate and dont think things are black and white...why people behave so childishly as if I dont agree with you so I am going to report you? what are the thumbs up and down for then?

Anyway I looked at this guys response and he referenced the word "n**ger" so I reported him and sent him the same email back in return which was very satisfying....

ok here goes... my girlfriend broke up with me yesterday because she somehow has evidence i was cheating. the weird thing is i never cheated.. seriously.. we werent together too long a few months and its still new and fun i have no reason to go elsewhere. she thinks she knows something but theres no truth in it. ive been buggin her to explain but she wont tell me where its coming from. we almost broke up a few weeks ago because it was going too fast but she came runnin right back. she was scared to get hurt aparently but came to her sences i guess. i have slight suspicions about a guy thats been callin her late night. what do you think is goin on? is this an excuse to just leave or do you guys think shes trying to get something outta me?the morning she was fine and sweet and at like 2 this all happened

I have a boyfriend and his mother bothers me b/c she always telling him what to do. I've been with my bf for 4 years and his mother lives 2 hours away from us and is always wanting us to go visit her all the time. She always tells him what to do for example to buy a two family house so she can live in the other. What bothers me most is she lives 2 hours up north from us and she wants us to drive up there to pick her up and drive to Jersey. We live in the city and it sucks going up there and driving back it takes too much time and it cost money. We both work and we never get weekends off b/c we are always up there. I feel bad that she lives alone but we never get a chance to hang out alone ever. She always asking for him to take her places and that means picking her up and dropping her back off. It sucks b/c we only have fri-sun off to relax.

I would prefer Christians only on this please....

Here is the verse:

Ecclesiastes 12:6
6 Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the well.

Obviously this is a metaphor for the importance knowing God before you die. But do you think the "silver cord" mentioned has more significance?

Is this "silver cord" maybe what keeps us attached to this life....and then gets severed when we give up the ghost and go home to be with the Lord?

It's my underestanding that dog owners, when they die, will spend eternity following each other around and smelling their rectums, in a state of total bliss. Also, they will deposit turds wherever they please.

The only beings happier than they will be the flies. Huge hordes of plump flies will hover in the fetid air, and congregate upon all fresh turds...

What? Yes, a truly blissful place for all dog owners...

On an 2007 250cc Kawasaki ninja it says to do 500 miles staying under 4000rpm (35mph) the from 500 - 1000 miles staying under 6000 rpm
How important is this? I'm not thinking of running it at full speed or anything but is it bad to do the speed limit of say 45 or 55 when 35 is the rpm limit?

I am torn between getting a Stoeger Cougar 8000 in 9mm and buying a Glock 20 in 10mm. The gun will mostly serve as home defense and a "just for fun" gun. The 9mm is a very cheap round and the cougar is an inexpensive pistol, whereas the the Glock costs a little bit more and the ammo is fairly expensive. I am open to reloading to fray the cost of the 10mm. On that same note does anyone know how it costs per cartridge to reload 10mm. Ive had good reviews on both pistols, but I still cant decide.

i think my job is in jeopardy. someone who was fired or let go got some severanace package. but i dont know i will get it if i were to let go. so if they fired me...how can i ask for severance pay? if they dont...can i sue since other employees that were let go in the past got it? thx in advance
