I work 24 hours a week and they asked me to come in on my day off for an hour. It's quite annoying b/c I have to go to the babysitters, drive out to work, work the hour, then drive back to the babysitters...I used up basically 2 hours of time. I heard there's a law (CT) that if you come into work for one hour they have to at least pay you for 3, is this true?

Ive been feeding my cat Science Diet Kitten brand food, every pet store recommended it to us, is that good or is there better food? Can we feed cats grilled meats or Tuna, or does it have to be raw? I personally like to eat good, rich, and healthy food, so id like my kitten to get in that habit as well.

I've been experiencing pain and pressure in my ears lately, with the majority of the problems in my left ear. A few days ago, I noticed a tooth surfacing. I can only see a little white spot with a little redness. Could the tooth create problems within my ear? It's on the left side as well. I've also been kinda dizzy and have trouble focusing on objects at times. Everything seems blurred and after a few seconds sharpens up. Seems like a lot of trouble from just a tooth. =\
I guess I should note that I've already been to an ENT who performed a CT scan in the office, and he saw no problems with the ear itself. Also went for a cleaning at the dentist last month and was told all of my wisdom teeth were showing up on x-ray, but I haven't felt pain in my mouth and didn't know if these other things could be caused by them. So now I'm here. =P
Sorry if that's a lot of info. Just want to be sure!

I bought this LCD TV about 4 months ago and everything was working fine.
Today I opened it to watch a channel and I just got the sound but no picture..I could change channels and hear the sound of each but I had no picture..The panel of the TV continue to look just like it does when the TV is off but the sound was ok. Can I do something for it?What could be the problem?It is something that can be fixed?

Hi, i just finished my 2nd eyar in mech eng..and i am on CO-OP...i heard from one of my friend dat.by gettin a cisco certification..ie; CCNA you get paid more that anything u make in mech eng...

is this true??...is it possible to get myself certified in cisco?? when i asked the guy who was teaching these courses ...he told me to start of with Network + and MCP and CICSO..and then move ur way up..

can you please give some advise on this?...

what is the salary compared to mec eng degree??

I'm a woman in her fifties and I'm raising two kids. Technically, I'm raising a young adult and a teenager. I know I shouldn't be having a problem with parenting at this age, nonetheless, I'm having trouble with my eldest especially. She's very stubborn and, oftentimes, does not do what I tell her to. Since I gave birth to the youngest, she has been independent of mind and has been rejecting most of my advice. Because of this, we often end up in fights which usually last for days.
Moreover, my daughter does not follow my orders and often shows me disrespect.

Take note: I'm an authoritative disciplinarian. I don't think that my parenting style works wonders on my eldest. Can you suggest anything that could fix my problem?

My hair gets so burnt and dry from straightening and hairdrying it everyday, I use a Garnier Serum at the moment but i cant really use serums because they make my hair oily.
I don't know what my friend uses but her hair looks so glossy and so fine at the ends (not split ends like mine!)..I want a good heat protector that will protect my hair, not cost to much and preferably not a serum. Do you know of any?

I just got a baby 1 month old kitten and its 2 months old now and since we got it, it licks me all the time, my face, arm, back, hand, leg. he doesnt lick anythin else but me and occasionally my mother and sister. When i try to pull away from his licking he grabs it with both paws and pulls me back in to continue licking. And she goes on and on and on until she gets playful, and thats when she gets jumpy with everything and bites. Why does she do the licking? and how can i stop her from biting so much? Im a 1st time cat owner so im clueless on a lot of things lol
