I've been experiencing pain and pressure in my ears lately, with the majority of the problems in my left ear. A few days ago, I noticed a tooth surfacing. I can only see a little white spot with a little redness. Could the tooth create problems within my ear? It's on the left side as well. I've also been kinda dizzy and have trouble focusing on objects at times. Everything seems blurred and after a few seconds sharpens up. Seems like a lot of trouble from just a tooth. =\
I guess I should note that I've already been to an ENT who performed a CT scan in the office, and he saw no problems with the ear itself. Also went for a cleaning at the dentist last month and was told all of my wisdom teeth were showing up on x-ray, but I haven't felt pain in my mouth and didn't know if these other things could be caused by them. So now I'm here. =P
Sorry if that's a lot of info. Just want to be sure!

Pain, swelling, pain in the ear, jaw pain, ear aches, TMJ probs are all associated with the wisdom teeth, blurred vision and dizziness is not. Seriously,do you have a low threshhold of pain? Some people that cannot tolerate pain will experience the symptoms you are speaking of. That may account for the dizziness and blurred vision, also anxiety can also cause the blurred vision and dizziness. Ask your DDS if the wisdom teeth need to come out or if there is enough room for them to come in on their own. Good luck, either way, you will be okay.

I'm probably late, (and i'm not a doctor) BUT.... your dizziness CAN be caused from your wisdom teeth. The opening of the gumline can easily become infected. That infection can easily impact your ear. Ear infections CAN cause dizziness since your equilibrium is controlled there. Hope you're good.

Improperly positioned wisdom teeth can affect normal TMJ movement and therefore, cause any of the above symptoms. See an Oral Surgeon ASAP.

Your wisdom teeth can absolutely cause pain in your ears, neck, jaw, head. Just keep downing the Tylenol until it's grown out enough to pull. Now you know what babies are going through when they're teething. haha

wisdom teeth can cause you lots of pain and symptoms in the eyes and ears commonly. they are teeth which usually need to be removed. take it from a person who had all four removed, 2 of them had to be surgically removed under the gumline. when they start growing in, if this is your problem, you will probably experience stomach and appetite problems as well. I did.I had a lot of sleepless nights and fever too. plan now on having them removed, they can really affect your life making you irritable, uncomfortable, and downright angry. hope this helps.

Yes it is. Take calcium in a bit overdose & the wisdom teeth will come out quickly & relieve you of your pain. Get it incised by a doctor, this will also do the same as above.
