They say that "dogs have owners, cats have staff"...it's very true! :-)
Basically cats love comfort, so just make the bed as comfortable as is possible. She loves your bed because it's warm and cosy and secure so try and do the same for her place. Put it near a warm spot, near sunlight, near a radiator, anywhere nice and comfy.
But in the end....she will do what she pleases! If she bothers you on the bed try and take her out of the room now because if she gets used to it then doing it later will be harder. She will scratch at the door and howl and stuff at night wanting to be let in so try not to get her in bad habits.
I am sure she will bring you so much joy, they are so cute.....and enjoy her fussy habits, they are all such different characters! :)

I have a kitten who is almost 3 months old now and I had similar problems, so I moved her bed into my room next to my bed so I could put my hand down in the bed and she would cuddle against it. I also bought a stuffed cat that looked like a real cat and put that in the bed too, so when I move my hand she can cuddle with the stuffed kitty.
Her bed cant get more comfy though since its a feather pillow with a silky pillow case...Yeah I know spoiled rotten lol
Only other things I can suggest is to move her off of your bed everytime she gets up there or keep your door closed, and never put catnip where a kitten can get it, I had heard and read from many sources that catnip is bad for kittens. Well it kinda acts like a kitten repellant when they are really young.

You just have to wait really, and put something that smells of you in the bed, like a towels, or an old t shirt or something. My kittens didn't go near their bed until they were about four months old, and now they'll be in it when I get up in the morning. It's not the only place they sleep though, because cats will only sleep somewhere super comfy but most importantly, very warm. Place the bed by a radiator and I'm sure you'll get there eventually.

Ha ha, you will soon learn that cats will never do what you prescribe for them. Trust me, you will waste your time trying to teach her where to sleep. She will sleep where she wants. My cat never used his bed either. Another cat I found liked it, and so I gave it to my friend who adopted the cat. Leave the bed there, she might go to it, but it is possible that she may not use it. If you don't want the kitten on your bed don't let it in your room or on the bed, but I don't know how long you can keep that. I didn't let my cat sleep with me for the first months, but now I can't sleep without him. Be careful though, because your kitty is still very small and you may squash her in your sleep, so it's better if she sleeps elsewhere for a couple of months.

I grew up with lots of pets. Right now I have a total of six cats. I can tell you from personal experience...a cat is going to sleep where she wants to sleep, lol. You said that she is just a kitten. She is probably lonely sleeping alone in "her" bed. Not only is your bed warmer for her, but she has companionship. I have 4 cats that sleep in my bed every night. It gets crowded, lol. Cats are cuddlers by nature and I have always found this to be a cute and endearing trait.:) You might just try accepting the fact that she prefers your bed. If you do choose to lock her out of the room at night, be prepared to lose some sleep, lol. She will probably spend several hours trying to get in, lol.

Good luck cats sleep where ever their hearts desire I have never had a cat actually sleep in the cat bed. They prefer the couch where the sun hits them during the day and my bed at night...they even sneak under the covers for added warmth. Unless you give the cat a heated blanket or something enticing to them I don't see the kitten sleeping on the cat bed. Also the cat is young and used to sleeping with mom and siblings where it was very warm and cozy.

You cann't make a cat sleep where you want them to sleep, eat what you want them to eat, or urinate where you want them to urinate. It does seem like your kitten loves you a lot and doesn't care for her cat bed anymore. Let her sleep with you each night. She thinks of you as a big brother or a littermate and she feels more secure around you than she would in her own cat bed. It will also give you an opportunity to bond. Cats can be great friends for life if you raise them the right way and give them love and affection. My newest cat, who is a Maine ****, won't go anywhere except for my room and hides under my bed. Her litter box is in there as well as her food and water dishes and toys. She will hiss at my brother and my mom if they try to reach under the bed to pet her but she purrs whenever I call her name. Good luck with raising your first kitten!

Cats like to cuddle. The cat bed is for when you are not home. Sorry, there really is no way to make your cat sleep in it's bed. You could get her more interested in the bed, by sprinkling a little catnip in it, but she will probably still sleep with you.

Good luck with that. One of our cats loved her basket until one day she just stopped sleeping there. Doesn't matter what we do she'd much rather sleep in the laundry... or on my laptop bag... or on a piece of paper on the floor...
anywhere but the bed we bought for her.
go figure. Cats will be cats!

You probably won't see your kitten sleeping in her bed anytime soon. That's not usually a cat's behavior but wanting to be with you or your mother is. She loves you and wants to be where you are.
