Why do we always try to change things when we know they are going to happen anyway?
Im guilty of doing it too but you just get down trodden and crushed when you realise you can do anything in your power but its a waste of time in the end.

There were 4 guys sitting in a bar. One of them decided to play a little game about what each of them thought was the fastest thing in the world.

Well the first guy says, "I think a Concord Jet is the fastest thing in the world, because it can go faster than the speed of sound."

Well the second guy says, "Well I think I got you beat on that one! I think lightning is the fastest thing in the world, because it can go faster than the speed of light and sound."

Well the third guy says, "Well I believe i have both of you beat. The brain is the fastest thing in the world, because whenever you need something, it is right there for you."

Well the fourth guys clearly states, "Well I have got you all beat! I think the anal sphincter muscle is the fastest thing in the world."

The other three guys say really? Why's that?

And the fourth guys says, "Well I was on a Concord Jet, it got struck by lightning, and I didn't know what to do ... so I poo my pants

Seriously! I've watched the view for the past two (or more) years and everything that comes out of Elizabeth's mouth is ridiculous. I remember the Asian girl before her (Lisa, I think), was intelligent and expressed her views in a classy way. Elizabeth looks like a freaking kid blurting out random things, and crying when her "feelings get hurt". I'm starting to think shes there to boost ratings. If they want a conservative view, thats fine. But at least they should hire some one who is intelligent and has something real to say. anyone feel the same?

I have a dell laptop. The power adaptor broke and now I cannot turn the laptop on cause the battery ran out of power and the adaptor doesn't work.

I have taken the hard drive out of it and really need to find out what I need to do to retrieve all my old files.

Have seen some references to a "USB" case as possible solution but not sure what it is and how it would connects to the hard drive.

I have bought a new laptop and get the impression this is hooked up to old hard drive and USB Case also.

appreciate any advice I get.

the pokemon i have are, prinlup,geodude,chingling,meditite,pachirisu and ponyta. mind u my ponyta still hasnt learned ember yet... im working on tht. can anyone give a combination of moves i can use with my remaining pokemon to beat her. ive tried more than 3 times nothing works..dang roserade..

Every night I look up at the sky to do some star gazing. Only recently have I take a huge interest in astronomy. Every night as soon as the sun sets I see a star to my right in the sky. An hour later I see another star in the sky, almost completely opposite of the first star and it's too my left this time.

What are these stars? They're brighter than the rest once the rest do actually come out. I think I read somewhere that the first star to emerge at night is Venus, is this true?

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. English is a second language? Spanish is more popular.

How come the immigrants don't learn our language of English?
I heard one say, because we are too old (20 yr. olds) to learn, but yet we have to learn their language to communicate to them.
