here's a weird question for you guys, are we important enough to be leading men/ladies.

I just want something that is capable of seeing the other planets. Jupiter and Saturn are the two plants that I mainly want to see.

How much am I looking at for a telescope that is capable of this?

I can understand why Pangea broke up, because it was allowing the land to go to a lower energy state.
But why when Earth formed, was there one giant island on one side and water on the opposite side?
I was thinking that the formation of the moon must have happened not long after the Earth, so that the moons gravitation pull would cause land to bulge on the side closest to earth. But that means at that time, the Earths rotation must have been equal to the moons revolution, which is very possible since the moon is gradually moving away from us, hence changing its period of revolution.

Any Legitimate reasons are greatly appreciated.

And another thing. Is it just a coincidence that the Moons period of rotation is equivalent to its period of revolution?

Anyone else had or have a problem with spiders this year?? I have them in my house all of a sudden and they are of different types...... small and big!! :( I live in the South East part of the USA, so it is hot and humid, but have never had this bad of a problem. I have lived in the same house for years and I use an exterminator. Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated! :)

i have some cured live rock according to the salesman who sold it to me. i noticed some little mushroom like things on one piece and some pink stuff growing on another. So pretty much on each pice there are a multitude of colors. Is this coral growing or just algea? will live rock form corals or wil i have to buy coral to put on the live rock?
