Seriously! I've watched the view for the past two (or more) years and everything that comes out of Elizabeth's mouth is ridiculous. I remember the Asian girl before her (Lisa, I think), was intelligent and expressed her views in a classy way. Elizabeth looks like a freaking kid blurting out random things, and crying when her "feelings get hurt". I'm starting to think shes there to boost ratings. If they want a conservative view, thats fine. But at least they should hire some one who is intelligent and has something real to say. anyone feel the same?

She is a nobody. She was a contestant on survivor and won some thing they had for a new co-host. If you watch you know she isn't and was never meant to be taken seriously. She replaced Debbie Matenopoulos who was also treated as a joke on the show. I love how she thinks what she's saying is so smart and everyone cares LOL! The producers know what they are doing by having her on and intelligent conversation is NOT her purpose.

I totally agree - she is pretty and that is the nicest thing you can say about her. I think the show tries to have different views and she is spose to be the voice of the conservatives, but, she does them a real disservice she is such a ditz!
She never has her facts right, interrupts, is rude, cannot stay on point, has no sense of humor, changes the subject and the most annoying thing to me - it is always all about her!
She has been caught in a couple of lies, too.
I don't mind someone with a different point of view, as long as they can reasonably support what they believe; she doesn't and sorry to say, she, most of the time, just sounds stupid!
She is very immature and thoughtless - does not listen to people she is so anxious to spew her nonsense. All of the women on there are older and wiser than she, but, does she ever give the them the courtesy of listening? It would be amazing if she EVER said, "hmmm, I never thought of that" or "you have a good point". She is just ignorant.
I hope they find someone else - soon! She is so annoying I have pretty much stopped watching. I think she is just disgusting. She claims to be a Christian, but, I have seen her be just downright nasty!

When Lisa Ling left, They narrowed it down to 3 and Elisabeth was one of them. Personally, I like the girl named Rachel.
Elisabeth is a conservative, just came off Survivor, is married to a football player and they probably thought she'd be best for ratings. When she was hired they were babbling about things other than politics (mostly Star's wedding) lol . Rosie started with the politics. ANd Elisabeth can't contribute much of anything except baby stuff (like she's an expert!).

I agree- she really is a nobody, just a contestant on some stupid reality show. Now, The View is trying to get these big name stars as co-hosts, but they didn't seem to look real far to replace Lisa Ling! I think Debbie should come back to the show- she co-hosted a few months ago and she was great! I also liked Lisa Ling, and she has gone on to be a correspondent on Oprah, and she just married a doctor!
I wonder when Elisabeth's contract is over?...

I have to say, I agree with you. She doesn't say many intellegent things at all, does she? But, you're right. She's there for the ratings. Plus, it's The View, and therefore, they need to have people with different viewpoints, whether they be liberal, consertative, etc. It's too bad they picked her though. She really makes conservatives look bad on that show..

I completely agree. I used to like Elisabeth, but she shouldn't be talking about politics in any way shape or form. She's not doing a thing to help her party. She just sits on her soapbox, acting as if she's holier than thou. I don't enjoy her at all anymore.

Heard she was on Survivor or one of them shows and she won I heard?? She acts like a little kid and brings 000 To the show I do not wartch the show. Really do not like any of them at all!!

I am so surprised she was on survivor. I didn't see it, but she looks like she wouldn't last day. I can not stand her. Who really cares about anything she has to say. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah

I think she won a contest and that is how she got there. She was on Survivor.
