it's so sad what muslims are facing everyday from wrongful accusations, to insults, to unfair employment in foreign countries because of wearing a headscarf or so....... but the worst is that this image is being deformed by muslims themselves.....when alqaeda and other terrorist group members publically declare that they are following the quran by killing innocent civilians!!!! and also muslims who are hostile against nonmuslims....
we all agree that this ain't related to islam by any means....but how can we change it.......
I'm sure all of you who log in here to answer questions about islam have a huge love for this religon....so let's think together of ideas that can help change this stereotypical false image of islam......something big, global that can have a social peaceful impact and may change some opinions.....let's hope and pray god blesses us with this honour

I met this really great guy online and I lied about my appearance time went on we talked more and more and eventually we were up many sleepless nights talking. Well I finally told him the truth about my appearance and he was mad not at the fact of what I looked like but more so because I had lied to him. He wont take my phone calls now however he still texts with me and tells me that I did mean something to him. I have apologized profusely and asked what I could do to fix this he tells me I cant fix it. I ask if he misses me and he says yes a little. I need some words to win him over win me that one more chance to see what might have been. I need some good solid advice on how to fix this or at least get him to talk to me.

Why do the religious of our time accept as infallible and god’s word the bible’s reports of your Bronze Age god's wrath, of rape and “pillage,” of genocide, slaughter of the innocent, human sacrifice, and stoning one’s kid to death because he talked back, etc., etc.? It doesn't sound "loving" to me. I really want to know, but I am compelled to add, from past observation, that I do not except from you an answer that make's one iota of sense.

It's difficult to explain to my sister that she is "different" to others and can't use the "N word" despite regularly hearing it...

He is fairly advanced with a vocabulary of about 35 words. His word recognition is about 10 words. He loves to play outside and is fairly independent in his play. Very curious, he likes to see how things work but does have a short attention span. Any suggestions on a gift?

lemme describe myself. 20 years old, 5'9, overweight. I work out frequently, diet and bought a bike. I enjoy videogames, karate, music, movies and computers. I know I'm a geek (i know better than to talk about games/computers around girls) I'm in college and have never had a girlfriend. here's why... I am TERRIFIED of asking a girl out. it's not the rejection part so much (though that is some of it) but it's the fear of doing it! I have no problem talking to girls i know. if I don't know you I'm a little shy but it's not too bad. It took me about 3 days to get comfortable in all my classes so i'm not that anti-social. There's this girl I want to ask out, her name Is Ann. She's brunette with dark green eyes. I know she's not the most beautiful girl in the world, (she is pretty though) I want to ask her out when school starts this fall again. We're in a couple of clubs together so I can see her fairly frequently. How shoudl I do it? What do I say? Does "Wanna go out sometime?" work? Thx!

My first love really broke my heart, but he was still my first love and I think that counts for something.

Like, I was gutted when I found out he was married last year, and very pleased when I heard that his marriage had broke up.
