I think that either Madeira or the Azores would be romantic and relaxing places for a honeymoon. They are both groups of islands in the Atlantic Ocean are incredibly beautiful and unspoilt and have a unique culture. Madeira is subtropical and is known as the floating garden because of all the beautiful flowers. The Azores have lovely green mountains and lakes and stunning views out to sea. They are one of the best places in the world to see dolphins and whales. You can read about them here http://www.portugal-sport-and-adventure.com/whales-azores.html I think that either place would be great as there's lots to do and you could learn to surf or dive or go horse-riding or for lovely moonlight walks along the beach... and there's great fresh seafood and friendly people. Both groups of islands are part of Portugal so are in the EU.
Wherever you go I hope you have a lovely wedding and honeymoon
