I love David Flintoff,ian botham,dickson bird and so on,but would they stand a chance against the great Pakistani team we are blessed with at the moment?Lets face the facts,half of your team isnt even of the England land.Now poor old Bob has passed on(may i point out of natural causes)we would "wipe the ground with you"we would then take off our shoes and chase the likes of david flintoff around the oval.so come and tell me what you think,thankyou

'David' Flintoff???? 'Dickson' Bird??? (Do you mean Dicke Bird, the famous UMPIRE NOT PLAYER?). How can you have any sort of opinion about cricket when making such basic factual errors?
You also seem to have a tenuous grasp of basic maths - 3 out of the current first choice England 13 (the 11 that played the last test plus Hoggard and Anderson) were born overseas (Pietersen, Strauss and Prior). Of these only one (Pieterson) is not essentially an English player, Prior and Strauss both being products of the UK school/ University/county cricket set -up.
Have Pakistan really improved that much (if at all) since the 2006 humiliation you suffered? Shame, frankly, your team did not simply put ON their shoes and come out at the Oval and take the win that was within yout grasp (despite the fact you'd still lost the series)....

We'll you should agree that Pakistan team is not at the height where it was few years back. Its not about the ethnicity of the players but of the performance.
About Bob Woolmer what happened was very sad. He was a very nice fellow. When I heard about his death I firstly couldn't believe and later on the disappointing rumor that one of the team mate has done this act of shame was nonsense.
The best thing we could do know is forgive and forget. Let the bygones be bygone.
sometimes there is a win in forgiveness.
