A guy is selling a plasma which doesn't work when connect to HDTV, it powers off. But the menus work fine when its not connected. I can't test it, does anyone thing it will work when connected to component wires. What do you guys thing is wrong with it. Please let me know. thanks

Last year I switched to Cingular from Verizon Wireless because, at that time, Verizon was horrible. Dropped calls and everything. Once my 2yrs were up I literally ran to Cingular. Their service was awesome up until a month or two ago when I noticed the same things were happening to my phone as it did with V.W. Not only was I getting dropped calls but I wasn't getting service everywhere and at other times my phone said "No Network". And I also began to notice unknown charges on my account when my bill came in. I'm pretty basic with the exception of text messages but I was being charged for internet use and all kinds of stuff. I began to notice the "new at&t" logo on the commercials and even on my monthly bill. My thing is, how come they switched to AT&T (again) without letting their customers know? Cause frankly the service sucks worse than Verizon. And Verizon is now the top dog in wireless providers. Go fig?! How do you ("new AT&T" users) feel about this unexpected change?

I haven't hooked up with a girl in a while, and the ones I have hooked up with did NOT have herpes. I just got this sore on my outer lip, on the right side. It made that part of the lip swollen. I accidently poked it and it seems the stuff inside is yellowish. So how could I have gotten this? Last time I had something like this on my lip was about 2 years ago. And I don't drink from the same cup as others, etc.

My family and I just bought a new home about two weeks ago. Starting about a week and a half ago our neighbors have been having band practice or something EVERY night and day in a garage building in their backyard. It is so loud that it sounds like a concert going on next door. This goes on until almost midnight. We did not want to call the police since we just moved into the neighborhood and we just didnt want to cause problems but when we have tried to knock and ask them about it they do not open the door, so we wrote a note ( a very nice one) and put it on their door, but they still are playing so loud. What would you do in this situation...should we just go ahead and call the police? Thanks for any help!

How would Star Wars canon have been changed if, during the time between New Hope and Empire, the emporer employed a covert ops spec team to infiltrate the rebel alliance. I gave three weeks notice yesterday to my supervisor! I dont have a job lined up though. This has been in the works for a while, so it wasn't a hasty decison trust me. I have money saved up for about 2 months to live off, and I have been looking for a job for several months now to no avail. My supervisor is horrible (see other questions I have asked in the past for details). My question is: What are other avenues besides networking and applying to companies I can go to try and find another job. Recruiters: How I can I really find a job quick? I am not to worried because if need be I can work at a mall for an inbetween job. I have my bachelors degree, and I have already signed up with a temp agency and I am leaving on good terms. I have told people I know I am looking for another job and I have been applying to places left and right.

I am just so scared. i have never quit anything in my life and have never been out of work. I feel so free though, now I just need a plan. Any advice?

Why can't people call them as they see it? What is wrong with Dan Rather saying the CBS has tarted up and dumbed down the news? The market seems to agree. I can totally understand where Dan Rather is coming from. He is old scool new anchor and form his perspective, the news is delivered by Katie Currick in a softball way. And BTW, the market seems to prefer hardcore news, if you judge it by the ratings.
