Been married for thirteen years, just wondering ladies and gentlemen, do all men just sit there and seem like they have no "thoughts, feelings, etc?" I don't consider myself a demanding wife or hard to life with, but it seems my husband just doesn't have any type of interesting things to discuss ever-He seems kind of like a shell, with no substance? Is this true for others as well?

I always assumed that sex before marriage was something christians could but was better if they didn't since I hear of several religiously-minded christians treating it as no big deal.

I don't want him going that far away from me, not just yet. They are wonderful people and we have a great releationship but i am just not ready to leave him that far away. They only come to see him once a month for a couple of hours, so he doesn't really know them. Is this fair to make him go stay in an unfamiular place with unfamiular people even though they are his grandparents. given this is my first child and i am very protective. I do think that he needs to have a relationship with his grandparents, but why do they think is has to be at their house and with out us there?

My very good friend like to drink to get drunk, more often than not. I on the other hand enjoy one or two drinks to unwind after work, every now and then. When we go out I take my own car so I can leave when I want because she stays sometimes for hours. my friend knows she has a drinking problem, but refuses to quit until something drastic happens, the fact that she has kids means nothing. My question is should i be drinking with her at all? she goes out whether or not i go with her, so why cant i go out and enjoy a couple drinks with her? and what about the summer and cookouts and drinking at home, do i just not invite her or tell her not to drink, even though myslef and others can? what is the right thing to do for a friend who cant control her drinking?

I always had problems when it comes to 'so called' friends. Im 20 and i dont have any friends. I try hard to be pleasant to people, to go out of my way and speak, to out on a friendly face and really try.

At school i was bullied, and i became really shy and lacking in self esteem and confidence. At college i was no different. I used to keep myself to myself and was very quiet. I find it hard to socialise somtimes, in fact i hate it.

I hate my life because its not normal to have no friends at all. People that i used to know in the past were backstabbers and users, and it did no good for my confidence.

What am i doing wrong and why cant i seem to make any friends?

My parents chose to raise me as a female...and had my sex assigned to me with the appropriate operation, which removed my male genitalia.

As an adult, I am attracted to females...I feel that I am a man, and my parents made a mistake in assigning my sexuality.

I am speaking about the slang terms like ***** and h0e.
I am speaking about the drug references.
I am speaking about the references to gang-type violence.

The last time I checked, rap and hip hop were styles of music, meaning a form of entertainment -not a source of education.

Why must music artists (mainly blacks in this case) produce music in a manner to represent ethinic or racial groups in a positive sense? Why are they given this responsibility? Music is supposed to be about entertainment -not about being role models and setting examples for children.

People say what they want in their music because it is an artistic expression of life. It is not meant to be a learning tool for kids. Nor is it meant to act as a representative of a certain racial or ethnic group of people.

In a country where people are free to say what they want, people are also free to not hear what they do not want. This means don't listen if you do not like it.

Why the urge to censor art?
