Ummm. no. Global Warming is not caused by man.
Ok one more time folks.... GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT CAUSED BY MAN!
There is something far more powerful than man at work here. You see, there is this huge ball of fire in the sky called the "sun". This "sun" puts out immense amounts of heat energy. At this point in time the "sun" is burning hotter than it was 10 years ago thus warming our pleasant little planet. There is really no such thing as a "normal global temperature" since it is cyclical in nature. Meaning it gets warmer, and it gets colder.
In order for the global temperature to remain at a constant is for the earth to have a perfectly circular orbit around the sun, which it doesn't, and the sun to remain at a constant temperature, which of course it doesn't.
I seem to recall that about 25 years ago they were talking about the oncoming ice age and how we were headed for a "Global Disaster". Uh huh... how is that working out? I'm wearing my parka are you?
Man produces about 3% of carbon dioxide gas on this planet. That's right 3%. So relax, eat your dinner, and get some sleep, when you wake up tomorrow, the planet will still be here.
Thank you,
This has been a public service message for the intellectually impaired and easily distracted by small shiny objects.

Global warming would not be caused by packaged foods, but remember the 3 R's. The first R is Reduce (as in reduce the packaging.) It seems like landfills would fill up faster with all the packaging. You could take some cooking lessons.

recycle as much as you can. Also, refuse to buy products that are over-packaged, you know, the packet that's in a box that's sealed with foil, then wrapped in plastic and includes a straw or spoon---goodness! What are they thinking!
One can always learn to cook--it's not that hard, gets better with practice, and it saves money.
Global warming IS real. It is a natural phenomenon of heating and cooling the entire world over vast periods of time but mankind is speeding it up and screwing up nature.
Live well, love deep and do good.

everything you do causes global warming according to some hippies. You breath out CO2 which is what is going to kill us all in 10 years. Stop breathing, thats the only way to save us.

It contributes to the amount of waste that goes to the landfills. What you can do to help that is when possible recycle the packaging that the food came in. Not everything can be recycled but for what you can, like cans, cardboard (some locations) paper products things like that can help. Most of our foods come pre-packaged and when we go to a fast food place everything comes wrapped also. So by recycling what you can, and maybe even reusing somethings, like plastic cups from resteraunts you can cut down on waste.

think about what the packaging is made from...is it plastic made by oil, and how much energy needs to be produce for the manufacturing of the packaging. i don't even put produce in those plastic bags. plus packaged foods are usually way high in sodium, sugar, and preservatives
