It happens sometimes, if it's not bothering him then don't worry about it.

But definitely don't breed him, it is an inherited fault.

Edit: Even good breeders will produce the occasional overbite. It's just one of those things.

I have a Yorkie also. HE is 8 month old and has it too. It is pretty common, i don't know why. You should go to the vet to have them pulled out. I'm going this Friday.

It is common in Yorkies that aren't carefully bred..this is one reason why it is best to buy from a responsible breeder.

Basset is right. My parent bred toy poodles and every now and then a over bite or a under bite in one of the pups would show up. It is a fault and this dog cant be shown or bred. It not life treating and usually doesn't impede them eating at all.
