I just got a new job and i am confused as what to claim for the year so i decided to claim 0 and hold out at a higher single rate so we will get more back at the end of the yaer, we file married and joint is this the best move to make? i also am a full time student as well and was told i could also claim exempt, but that means we would get nothing back and we need a lump sum we are expecting a child . any input would be good i am really confused?

they want gender equality but when it comes to making money, they are horrible at it and expect the "man" to support them. Why don't women admit that gender equality is a myth ? If you all are so independent then be responsible for half your crap.

I am supposed to Take a topic on which you are very passionate: poverty, violence, gossip, money. But I have to wrtie it in a letter syle like Pauls letters to a group of peopl. I had a company contact me today and said they got my number from my resume posted at Hotjobs. com. The lady said that her company was hiring entry level mortgage processors and she wanted to know if I was interested in an interview. I told her I was interested, and she gave me all of the details. At the end, she said I would have to bring $200 in the form of cash or money order for some sort of mortgage processors fee (or something like that). HUGE RED FLAG!! Why would you ever need to bring money to a job interview? Is there really a certification cost that mortgage loan processors have to pay? It all sounds like a scam to me and I'm not going to go to the interview.

Brainiacs: This true story, circa Mid 80s, Mid 90s was the basis for a book later turned into a TV movie where the guy (a doctor? a professional?) sadistically torments his wife.

I don't recall if he actually killed her; but the guy was on 60 Minutes and said he was innocent of the crimes he was charged with.

This made-for-TV movie may've been a two-parter on NBC or CBS, as well as had another version of the same story on ABC. The man himself was permitted to watch the movie(s) from his prison cell.

Does anybody out there recall this story, title(s), actors, etc?

I have a patch of gray hair on the top of my head. It's not a birth mark. I have heard that some people get it when they are younger and then it goes away. Anyone else heard of this happening?
