Write it in Greek.
Just kidding.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul begins by introducing himself, explains his position as an apostle, introduces the Gospel, greets the Romans, and then begins his treatment of the Gospel.

Verse 1: Who is the letter from?
Verses 2 - 5: What is the letter about?
Verses 6 - 7: Who is the letter to?
Verses 8 - 15: What does Paul know about the Romans?
Verse 16: Paul begins the actual content of the letter

If you were writing about violence, you would say something like,

"Jenny, a sophmore at NYU, studying the effects of violence in the media, especially as it applies to the effect on women. To my class, who are also students at NYU. First, I would like to say how much I have enjoyed spending this time studying with all of you, and I hope that this letter will promote awareness of the topic... (Now begin an essay on the subject matter)"

Paul addressed his letters to different churches. He usually starts with a salutation. He addresses different topics of need and help within the church.
If you are writing a letter about violence you need to decide who you are addressing the letter to.

Just make stuff up, and try to incorporate old myths and prophecies. That's how Paul did it.
