Talking about the vampire myth here, as I know their are no such things as REAL vampires.

yes,they do. there are such things as vampires they r called liberals. vampires do hypnotic stares/hypnotic eyes....but some may only use it as they wish..or they use it as a weapon. they don't have 2 use it if they don't want 2. there stare gives u the feeling like they can see right though u just like if they can see right though your soul!! get the book called "The Vampire Slayers' field guide to the undead" it will give you a lot of infomatation!!

as far as i know vampires do not but i do for a fact know that basilisks do have hypnotic stares that were said to put people to stone if their gazes met one another!

No, but they'd like you to think so. They'd also like you to believe that they are undead, stalk at night and drink blood, but none of this is true. They are just rebellious youth who go trick-or-treating year round and always look sad and disappointed with life because no one is giving them candy.

no not really but all vampires have different abilities some could have that one some don't but every one has a different one but some could be similar

yes, they can catch prey just with their eyes. then they can go for the kill. the other super capabilities are just in case type things.
