My neice asked me the difference and I guessed that the great 8 industrialized nations were first world, all unindustrialized nations were 3rd world and everywhere else is 2nd world. Is that correct?

As we all know the current violence in Gaza is disturbing and seems to be getting worse.

From Fatah and Hamas clashes to rockets launched into Israel and retaliatory Israeli fire.

The big losers are civilians living in Gaza and Southern Israel.

As such I think the first priority is establishing who controls Gaza. Clearly the PA or Hamas has proved incapable of doing so and Israel is not interested. As such the responsibility falls to the UN. A good example of how this could be done is how the UN administers Kosovo, and it should be done until the Palestinians can govern themselves.

As for security that would also fall to the UN or NATO because no one else is willing. Until such time a unified Gaza police/security force can be established.

I am purchasing a Sony HVR-Z1u, and I want to get a wide angle lens to go with it. There a cheaper one that's .8x, and a more expensive one that's .7x. Would the .8x be "wider"? Whould either of those lens produce an image of a landscape that had the sides curve up? I kind of like the "skewed" look, but want to know the difference between the lens. Thanks!

I am always hungry, I eat a lot, like, always, but I never gain weight. I have a small frame. I am 14 years old, 5 foot, and weigh like 90 pounds. I kind of want to gain weight, because people say im anorexic. I am definitely not anorexic, beacuse i eat a lot. I am always snacking on something. Why am I not gaining any weight?

I never feared death. Perhaps that's why i never joined the xian cult or any other cult.

I don't relish the idea of a painful death (I don't think anyone does) -- so, like most people, I hope i go with a minimum of pain. But, death doesn't scare me. I find it interesting. I'm in no hurry to discover what happens "after" -- only because I'm enjoying what I'm doing here, now. I still have other things I want to do here, but death isn't always in our control. Few people get to choose when they die.

But, I guess I find death to be an intriguing "transition".

I don't pretend to know a god, and I don't pretend to have knowledge of what happens at death.

But for those who fear death without the protection of a cult and the cult's framework -- is it that fear that drives them to their cult and keeps them there? If they leave the cult or drop it, do they fear a consequence?

I recently bought a Linksys 2.4 GHz Wireless N router. I hooked it up to my desktop and it works fine (slightly slower than when the PC was hooked directly to the model, but that's another story).

I set it up to work wirelessly with my laptop, but that's where the problem is. I renamed the network to something I was familiar with like the installation told me to, and I set the password key. When I tell my laptop to view available networks in range I can see the network, and it has full bars, but when I click on it and try to connect it says it is unable to connect.

I have used the laptop to connect wirelessly before plenty of times, on a number of different networks. It's a Compaq computer, maybe 2-3 years old, running XP.

Any settings or configurations I should try to change? The booklet that came with the router told me how to connect to the desktop, which I did, but it didn't say much more.

I have a 16 month old daughter and I am 11 weeks pregnant. Sometimes I wonder if I should have waited to become a mother because I see others doing things I would love to do...

I love my daughter more than i can express and she isn't a bad child... I just wonder sometimes...

Is this normal? I feel bad enough about it anyways, so please don't be mean.

I want to get a new hair cut. I really want something scene. I am Indian, not the Native American kind, the one that comes from India. So I have black hair and darkish skin. My hair is slightly below my shoulders and I'm not really sure what I could do. Most really good scene hair cuts that i have seen have different colored highlights, but would that look good with my dark skin!?
Does anyone have any good haircuts with highlights that would look good with my dark skin? Or ones that don't have highlights and are completely black are fine to.
