Guess what. I don't miss much, anymore, because you can get all that wonderful old stuff in THE VERMONT COUNTRY STORE catalogue. They have slushees and saltwater taffy and discontinued perfumes and old beauty remedies; they're awesome!!! They have old-fashioned cold remedies and stuff for cuts, Lotil and Rosebud salve, so many great things. Everyone's gonna love them.
I just made them a zillion bucks.... Buy stocks. (lol)
(But I do miss getting tooth powder easily from the shelf...) And there used to be a lipstick color--really, really pale pink that I don't see anymore.
Oh, I know! I really, really, really miss cream-stick eye shadows. I don't know what else to call them. They were like thin lipsticks with color. They're the easiest way to put on eyeshadow and I have no idea why they stopped and changed to powder and other stuff.... Makes me mad....
I miss white lipstick.
I miss complete soda shops, so that you could mix your sodas, as in cream soda, or you could have a Coke float, or a grape soda float, or any kind you wanted, and lots of different kinds of malteds.
I can't find the James Beard original cookbook. I miss that; mine fell apart (lol).
I miss real bookstores, because the chains are pushing them out of business. (products within a store, I guess....because the littler bookstores chose such great books, not just the ones that would be immediate hit sales!)

I miss a candy by Mars called PB & J. It was a Peanut butter cup about the size of a mounds and Almond Joy. I used to get a diet grape soda too but it is no longer in my area.

.I really miss colored toilet paper from the 80's.They stopped manufacturing it because it was bad for the environment.
