I read in the news daily of new reasons to be ashamed of what has become of my country. In the last few weeks alone, information has come to light that our own government has:

1. been running secret torture facilities throughout Europe (specifically in Romania and Poland)

2. become so complacent that they are willing to grant full amnesty to millions of criminals (read: new immigration bill)

3. vowed to continue an illegal war in Iraq...even after the new powers in Congress swore they'd not allow this. Apparently, the Dems lie as often and as shamelessly as the Reps.

4. systemematically and often-times secretly been stripping away our civil rights in the name of our Fuhrer's (Read: Bush's) laughable grand scheme.

And while all this has been going on...the citizens of this country sit quietly by. This is exactly how the Nazi's were allowed to rule for so long: because the people refused to rise up and put a stop to it!

I'm a retiree looking for a place to live outside the US. I'm considering Thailand, but I've heard that Cuba is a good place also. But, if you move to Cuba, and live there, will that put you in hot water with the US government when you come back to the States to visit family?

I feel kind of sad for the girl. No one wants to go to jail, but I don't believe she should get away with all of this because of her money. I believe that she should serve it out, quit whining and get it over with! What do you think?

american blacks why do you support democrats,do you not know during the civil war republicans were fighting to end slavery,and democrats were fighting to continue slavery,during the civil rights struggles of the 60`s republicans were fighting to give american blacks the same rights as all americans,and that democrats were fighting to deny american blacks the same rights as all americans,i do understand how the democrat/liberal dominated public education system seeks to keep the truth of history from you,but why do black leaders such as jesse jackson,al sharpton,cynthia mckinney,the congressional black caucus not reveal the truth of slavery and the true slave masters,that they now serve,to keep american blacks in poverty,republicans are not perfect,but they have done more for american black freedoms than democrats.and continue to encoruage the success of the american black citizen,please do some history research and learn the truth,and any young democrat/liberals out there do the same.

Have you recovered from depression? Has anybody you know recovered from depression? Every time I get depressed I hate everybody, I hate the world we live in and just want to die. Relax, that is just how I feel, I would never take my own life. I am seeing councillor about my problems and I am on medication. I just feel really sick of having this for such a long time. He was almost shaking, the dishonest Sherif LeBacca told the press just now that Paris was released because of her extreme health condition which was noticed after so long, I mean, how long? 3 days? What condition? she can party all day and night but cannot take 3 days in a safe cell?

How bout the sorry intro the Spurs have before the Finals.. The song that starts "You all ready for this".... from Jock Jams 1996. It is lame. I am not a big fan of Cleveland's either but it sure beats the crap out of San Antonios. Spurs fans - demand something better.

How do you cool yourself without out airconditioning? Don't give me any wize cracks like buy an airconditioning. Don't tell me to buy a A.A.C. and don't tell me to sleep in my basement. I thought it pathetic that this sheriff let her return to her home instead of staying in jail. Really she lives in a mansion
maybe if her home was a box in the middle of no where. I do not think anyone would mind being on house arrest in a mansion like Paris lives in. I give this judge a big hand and and well a job well done!. If this was like someone other then
a celebrity they would have there licence taken away for life and would spend all the time behind bars she has already broken the law why give her any more breaks..

I had a DUI and 2 tickets for driving on a suspended lisence while it was suspended for DUI and it was in LA County. I turned myself in and was released the same day both times. In LA County if the charge is a misdemeanor and less then 90 days they are usually just released the same day. I have never heard of anyone serving all of their sentence for a misdemeneor in LA. This is just an ongoing battle between the Judges and the Sherrif's. Its been going on for years and the judge is just using her as an example, yet they are not telling everyone what really happens to everyone else. Any other citizen would not spend 45 days in jail. She is being treated unfairly. Just wait until they begin to show statistic of the time people spend for similiar sentences.

I've been using these tests for a few days now and the result line comes out very faint, which I know is a negative result, since the directions say the result line needs to be the color of the control line or darker to be positive. Well today the result line came out just a little bit lighter than the control line, not even one shade lighter, which is much darker than the faint lines I usually get. Does this mean that I'm about to have the LH surger, or would you count this as a positive result? Thank you.
