Save your false sympathy for yourself, you obviously dislike her. No need to say you feel bad for her when you obviously don't.
Just think for a moment, if you was in her in position, what do you want for you? And don't say that you should be in jail, since it's obvious that you don't think that you should be in jail.
People tend to mix her money and her status by saying she shouldn't use her resources, but then say that she should be treated like everyone else. Make no sense, if Paris Hilton is the average person, she wouldn't even be in jail for a long 45 days.
Lets forget that this Paris Hilton, imagine that this a person that did a mistake, what do you do? You educate the person so that the person will learn, you don't make the person suffer. Will imprisoning the person make the person learn?
But if a society put a person in prison to fix him/her by making him/her suffer, then it's quite S&M society. Suffice to say, by the comments some people make about Paris, they are into S&M.
Putting Paris Hilton in jail is a waste of government resources, fortunately though that they are paying the government to put her in jail. Free food, free accomodation, free guards, and so on that are received by the prisoners are no strange things to Paris.
And fortunately for Paris, she probably enjoyed her stay, that girl have the ability of a cockroach to live almost anywhere. Plus, the governments probably will give every prisoners there in the prison extra treatment during Paris' stay.
So people thinking that Paris will feel awful there will be quite suprised to learn the truth. Come on, you think her act in court was real? And to think some people say she wasn't much an actress.

Sad? Are you kidding me? That "woman" needs to get a glimpse of the real world. When you *** up, you go to jail. But because shes been sheltered all her life with millions of dollars she never got the full blow of that as we all did. She needs to know that money, fame, and even her daddy cant get her out of everything. I am so glad she is in jail. I want to be famous so badly, but i am just so happy that if I do become famous, i wont take this all for granted. Im happy that little brat got into jail. I think all the celebs who take this life for granted and all the people who are working class for granted should have all of their money taken away and have to live like one of us for a year. The thing with Paris is like when your crate training a puppy. She'll cry and whine for the first few nights, and you''ll put your hand on the cage and tell her its gonna be alright. by the end of the week they're fine. Although, Paris isnt as smart as a dog anyways. So anything could happen.

Yes I think she has to serve the full 45 days. She and her family have shown nothing but utter disrespect for the Court and for the Judge.
Further more i think the Sheriff that let her go should receive some serious jail time for contempt of court. And their should immediately be an investigation to find out what strings her family pulled to get the Sheriff to replace.
If I were that Judge I would put that Sheriff in the slammer for a long time. In my view he was even more disrespectful to the Judge than was Paris or the Hilton family

Yes, Paris should definitely serve the full 45 days! Celebrities are constantly getting away with crimes because of their status, and it just isn't right. Celebrities are humans just like the rest of us, so they should have to pay for their wrongdoings as any other person would.
Besides, it is only 45 days; it's not like she has to spend years in jail.

I believe that she should serve the jail sentence out. I believe that even though she's rich and has traveled the world, she is very sheltered from the way the real world works. I think her "nervous breakdown" is the long overdue lesson that what she does can and will carry consequences in her life, and her reaction to that was overly dramatic, just like most of the things in her life.

Paris should not serve the 45 days, the judge originally had reduced the sentence to 21 days so that should be the sentence.
It's not like Paris escaped and went home, the sheriff let her go home.
If the judge is ticked off at the sheriff he should not take it out on Paris.
21 days in jail seems fair. The sheriff seems to like her too so I think she will be well taken care of during her jail stay.

YES! It's only 45 days...maybe less if the judge is nice enough to take away the three days she already did. Just go through them and before she knows it, she'll be back in the spotlight. Other celebs have done their time for such crimes as reckless driving or DUIs, and they jumped right back to their roles. But I do hope that Paris gets a chance to reflect on her life and change her image for the good...we can only pray...

Yes. I completly agree. i mean think of all the other conswqunces that other drunk drivers have had to pay. A lifetime in jail, community service. 45 days is nothing, however i do feel that forgiveness is needed in a situation like this.
I've always stayed neutral on what i thought of Paris, but this crosssed the line and so i do belive this is a fair punishment and she should take responsibility for her actions and get the 45 days over with.

No way! She shouldn't have to serve 45 days. She should have to serve 5 years. Why? Because she is a major drain on society, and needs to be taken out of the equation for a while. If things improve, lengthen the sentence. If they don't... Keep her their anyway, just in case.

Damn people, have you ever seen a women go to jail. They all start crying. With the exception of the butch women. Anyone who has dealt with the court system in LA knows if you were convicted for the same crime you would spend a few hours in jail and then be released. NO ONE GETS SCREWED WORSE THEN SHE IS GETTING SCREWED RIGHT NOW. So stop acting like you know something people. The media is playing games with you.
