I had great luck down there using live shrimp.

Stop at a bait store on the way out and ask the guy behind the counter what's eating what. Then you'll know for sure, but yeah, squid and shrimp will almost always catch -something- in salt water.

The hookers usually go for good ole single dollar bills, throw out a five, or even a ten if you want a really high class whore. All jokes aside, fish with cut peices of squid, you can buy it at any peir or fishing shop along the way.

we always do well with shrimp - and really any kind of cutbait.
