Once I was in a foreign town I knew nothing about. I had just found out my girlfriend was cheating on me with a big time drug dealer. I confronted the two of them while they were high on PCP. I left and I walked this town for about three hours at 3 in the morning. At one point I sat on a curb side in front of a shopping center. I remember feeling angry, hurt and scared. I looked up at the moon and I saw something like a small cloud coming down towards me. As it got closer I realized it was a spirit of some kind. I don't do drugs so I wasn't high and I had not had one drink. I remember this spirit getting very close and I suddenly felt peace. I got up and started walking again. I had to walk threw a huge wooded park. As I was walking threw the dark park I heard footsteps behind me the whole time but I never saw anyone. Somehow I found my brothers best friends job. He brought me home and I prayed and rested. Do you believe this was Jesus protecting me from others as well as myself?

I woke up this morning and my face was swollen all on that side! I dont think it has been swollen because I think i would have noticed, its tender on my lip and under my eye is a little puffy..

So basically is swollen on the rigt side from my eye to my nose.

Is it swollen because theres something wrong? Or because I just woke up? Please help im scared (and upset..i go on vacation today)

I got my lip pierced three weeks ago and it was fine, then got a ring put in last week. Today I noticed that there's this white substance on the inside of the ring just where it goes into the lip and it kind of stings when I twist it.

That's what this is really all about, right? Is it more intelligent to base our lives on that which is concrete and provable, or that which many find strength and comfort in (and COULD be true, there is no definitive evidence against it)?

I have a co-worker who just asks too many questions. I get irritated very easily and I am finding it more and more difficult to be nice when I answer. The most annoying aspect is that he asks them back to back and they are always either rhetorical or only require a yes or no answer and I feel like I am being interrogated. When I try to be nice and give more of a dialog, he doesn’t really stick around to listen or acts like I am holding him up (which sometimes works in my favor b/c then he will leave me alone-temporarily). I feel like I should feel that I'm overacting, but I honestly don’t think I am. Everytime he walks by now, I kinda tense up, b/c I am expecting another irritating question and I 'm not sure how I will react. It’s at the point where I don’t even open my mouth anymore-I just nod or shake my head. I think maybe he thinks he is annoying me, when it is just the questions he asks. How can I nicely tell him? I laughed and told him once but dont think he got the hint

Can believe I'm asking..but I'm in (or was) in a VERY long distance r'ship with who I thought was a wonderful man. Four months in he rang me up very distressed because he was attracted to someone else. He had ‘messed around’ with her but not slept with her or kissed her. I finished it with him, cancelled my flight and chalked it up to a huge mistake. Two days later (he had slept with her in this time) he started ringing, emailing, leaving messages pleading temporary insanity and distance. We were only together a month before he went, I had just never felt so sure of anything before. He’s paid my flight and is coming over in September...to stay at least a year. He wants to try again then (or now, but I can’t now). I don’t know what to do. I accept that people make mistakes under these circumstances especially, and also I love him a LOT. But I am SO hurt…HELP!

If you believe that God can do anything, can he build a mountain so high, that even he cant cross? I'm curious about the book The Bible Diet (I think that is what it is called). Could anybody give me some kind of quick overview? What does it consist of? Is it based on the Old and New testament? Does it allow (New T.) or forbid (Old T.) pork?
