It's human nature. But I think it's different with goths. I personally love gothic art, music, literature, etc. but I do see why many people hate goths. It's just not creative anymore. Goths claim to be "non-conformists," while at the same time are joining an even larger group of people. This has turned the counter-culture into just "the culture." Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against goths. I'm just sick of goths claiming to be "different" when they're just another link in the chain. As for druggies, people treat them differently, because no matter how hard you try to make it seem so, drugs are just not good. They're just a supplement for people who can't appreciate the world the way it was meant to be seen.

Because most people like people that are just like them. Plus people are closeminded. I however love the goths and the druggies...what's better is a goth druggie. I love America.

Gothics will grow up eventually, but addicts may not have that opportunity. People tend to like others like themselves, not ones who are deliberately being different.

It's always been that way. That's why englishmen automatically assumed that the native americans were savages. They didn't understand them, so they were afraid. But they couldn't show their fear, so they kill them and take their land. . .
