Once I was in a foreign town I knew nothing about. I had just found out my girlfriend was cheating on me with a big time drug dealer. I confronted the two of them while they were high on PCP. I left and I walked this town for about three hours at 3 in the morning. At one point I sat on a curb side in front of a shopping center. I remember feeling angry, hurt and scared. I looked up at the moon and I saw something like a small cloud coming down towards me. As it got closer I realized it was a spirit of some kind. I don't do drugs so I wasn't high and I had not had one drink. I remember this spirit getting very close and I suddenly felt peace. I got up and started walking again. I had to walk threw a huge wooded park. As I was walking threw the dark park I heard footsteps behind me the whole time but I never saw anyone. Somehow I found my brothers best friends job. He brought me home and I prayed and rested. Do you believe this was Jesus protecting me from others as well as myself?

The town wasn't foreign as in another country it was close to my home town. I mean foreign because I knew nothing about it. I didn't know my ex girlfriend used drugs. She did a great job of hiding it from me. She was five years older than I was she was 27 and I was 22. We lived together and she had been gone for a entire week. Her best friend felt bad for me and told me were my ex was located. I went to her home town to see what was up and to confront her. She had recently wrecked our car so I had to catch a ride to the other town. This event changed my life. This was the first time I was not totally violent in this type of situation. I never used violance after. When I was sitting on the curb and the angel came to me I was thinking about going back to the house were the entire episode had happened. Instead I found peace and moved on. After the encounter with the angel I never once thought about that girl in a loving or angry way. I instantly got over her at that great moment of peace.

Your Guardian Angel (as God's agent, so to speak) can and does protect you from both physical and spiritual harm. He will always be with you. Don't test His love for you though by being careless. Don't you think it was careless to confront anyone high on PCP especially an emotionally charged situation like a girlfriend and her lover while they're cheating on you?

Know this. Jesus loves you more than you can imagine now. His Guardian Angel will always be with you.

Hope this helps, Grace

Could have been Jesus, but that, too, is what angels are for. More than once in my life, I've believe that angels are the only explanation for my not having met with disaster.

This is an earthly benefit of being a Christian believer. God makes the final choice, or bad things would never happen to "good" people. But at His direction, I feel sure that God helps many people far more often than we (or they) could ever imagine.

I believe that God was watching out for you. If it wasn't Jesus protecting you, it was most probably the Spirit, or an angel.

It has been said, "God protects the foolish, little children, and ships named Enterprise."

I wondered the streets of a Mexican border town in the middle of the night...and somehow found the gates to get back to the US.

Nothing was protecting me. I was acting like an idiot, and I got lucky. But you can believe whatever you want about your situation.
