I'm curious about the book The Bible Diet (I think that is what it is called). Could anybody give me some kind of quick overview? What does it consist of? Is it based on the Old and New testament? Does it allow (New T.) or forbid (Old T.) pork?

By the way, I am Muslim, quite happy with my path, and am asking a sincere question to obtain knowledge. No bashing!!!!

The Bible diet is more about 'clean' eating than traditional dieting. It is about eating the foods God intended us to eat and not eating unclean foods. I followed Biblical eating principles and not only lost weight, without starving or depriving myself, but my cholesterol and blood pressure went down and I had more energy then I ever thought possible. Now that I am pregnant I am allowed to follow this eating principle.

Clean foods are anything had grows in the ground except fungus. Any meat that does not feed on other living things (no carnivores) or waste to survive. Beef, chicken, mutton, lamb, most fish are perfectly acceptable, as well as most game animals. Cheese, milk and eggs are also find, olive oil is preferred over any other oils but butter and margarine are OK as well. Fruits are the preferred choice over sugary desserts. Portion control is a big thing, a portion is no bigger then the size of your hand either as a fist or lying flat.

It is about smart eating, not dieting.
I hope it helped.

For the original new testament before king Constantine took out Vegetarianism, karma, reincarnation, google gospelofthenazirenes.com Enlightening. God is one Krishna, Allah,Jehovah, Vishnu. Etc. One God with many names. World Peace.

Take a look at the website below. I skimmed it but it looks like following a path that looks at food from a Biblical perspective. The support group in this case doubles as a Bible Study.

i could seem to Scripture for weight-alleviation plan suggestions. Marine biology has prover that shellfish are the garbage cans of the sea. each and every of the animals that God reported are unclean scientifically ARE unclean. i replaced into definitely stunned with the aid of this, yet whilst God fairly is omniscient, i like to think of he's, it is going to've been obtrusive that He is familiar with what's healthful and what isn't.

I hadn't heard of it but I would think it would follow things in the Bible. I'm not sure about the conflictions.

I don't know much about it, but it is probably a scam. Dishonest people know if you put the word "Bible" in front of something, then people will buy the book.
