Dry socket? That would suck!I dont have much pain...Could it still be dry socket and not have pain?
Also I dont know if it has anything to do with it, but I talked a whole lot more yesterday than I did the days right after the tooth got pulled (family came over)

It sounds like it may be a dry socket which can cause swelling and pain. The pain is herendous. So if your not feeling pain maybe its infected and not a dry socket.

I have had dry socket before it is not fun. Go to the dentist it should be an in and out thing. He will most likely give you some antibiotics, a syringe to clean it out with, and something for the inflammation and pain. Dry socket is especially common if it is on the bottom because food tends to stay in that area on the bottom due to gravity. So go to the dentist and get it checked out. Trust me it is really not that big of a deal.

There is a possibility that you have either an infection or a dry socket. http://www.studiodentaire.com/en/treatments/extraction.php

If you have an infection, it is best to call your dentist for antibiotics.

If you have a dry socket, you should be experiencing a lot of pain and difficulty to open your mouth. It is a temporary condition, which can be healed quicker if the dentist puts medication in the extraction site.
