I got my lip pierced three weeks ago and it was fine, then got a ring put in last week. Today I noticed that there's this white substance on the inside of the ring just where it goes into the lip and it kind of stings when I twist it.
Do you think I have an infection?

It's probably the ring aggravating it. If its infected you should have swelling, redness, yellow-green pus like discharge, and sensitivity to touch. If it is infected, leave your lip ring in to ensure proper drainage and visit your piercer for advice. Make sure you are keeping the piercing clean and doing sea salt soaks.

hello , i am a new member of yahoo and don't really no how to work this device but here is my opinion.

i think that your lip might well be infected but i would leave it for a couple of days in case it is just the healing process but if it has not cleared up by then i recommend you see your doctor.
