I do the same things with my two friends seperately (1 boy 1 girl) day in day out. There is hardly anyone else I feel I could be comfortable alone with. All of my 'acquaintances' seem to have friends comin out of their ears and are constantly on their phones. I feel as though I need to branch out and make new friends but the only people who show any interest in me is usually lads who are just tryin to come on to me. I find it difficult to get to the stage of swappin numbers and going out with other girls especially. I work in a pub and am as friendly and chatty as I can be (although im quite shy), but girls never seem keen to become real friends with me. Doesn't help I'm might be kinda sorta starting to see this lad who is MR POPULAR and I think he thinks I'm some kind of social failure because I'm always with the same person.

If nuclear weopens are no longer a deterrant (the shield thing kills the detterant arguement ) then won't the shield actually encourage growth of nuclear weopens production by americas enemies and (current) allies to dodge the shield, in the event of a war?

If there is a nuclear war, won't america simply have thousands upon thousands more nuclear weapons shot at it, to overwhelm the sheild?

In short... is the whole shield thing worth tearing up the quiet understanding between america and other nuke nations, while destroying the deterrant aspect of nukes (which they were designed for) and creating massive political fallout and hostility in americas friends or old adversaries - whilst also actualy raising the possibility that more nukes will fall on america?

I am in my third year of college and I am going to school for an EE degree. I am always repairing and designing of all types of electrical circuits. I am also a live sound engineer and network administrator. For the past ten years or so I have been using my fathers old analog multimeter but I think that it is time that i invest in a new one. I have done some searching and I like the ones that can connect to the computer to log information. I want something that I can use for the rest of my life. Features are nice but low price is also a nice thing because I am a starving college student. Since this is something I plan to use for the rest of my life, I dont mind spending a little extra though.

Does anyone have any suggestions on SPECIFIC products?
