I'm from Japan and Futsal is getting become popular in the city but countryside is not so. I'm living in not big city so we are very hard to find the another teams specially only girls team in the same region. But I really enjoy playing Futsal every Sunday with my teammates.

I live in Canada, and football is JUST begining to gain popularity over here (or atleast thats how its like in the city where I live)

Football isn't popular in North America, so you can imagine how long it'll take for Futsal to spread around.

If you don't like to run and you like soccer it would be better not to play soccer but futsal.
In US soccer is more popular than futsal. I like futsal as much as I like soccer.

Soccer is not that popular here is the US. Wish that it was. I do play of and on due to work. Don't mind some of the idiot Americans who bash soccer. They just can't play it.

It's somewhat popular in USA. MISL (Major Indoor Soccer League) isn't big, but it does exist, and has some dedicated fans. Check the link.....

Hi, I'm from Guatemala, it is most popular in downtown, but almost everyone prefers the soccer.

It's quite popular in Portugal.
I lived in Brasil for years and it was VERY popular there, I even participated in tournaments (and won :D) it's very fun, I love it. It will never replace football but it is great.
