My 8 month old kitten seems so skinny and I'm just wondering if it's cause for concern. She's unspayed and very active. I have 2 other cats but each has their own bowl so there is no fighting for a bowl. She has a healthy appetite and we've been feeding her some canned food along with the dried food. No ribs are showing. She just seems so lanky! I'm hoping it's just her growing.

im thinking of getting a dv9000t i absolutely luv everything about it, including it's price as well.

one thing that bothers me is it's design. its design looks really weak and cheap. i am worried that if i drop it, it would break. and i am going to use it for about 6 years. can someone tell me if an HP dv9000t is strong enough to take on my beating?

It seems to me that Al Sharpton has become less of a political force and more of a media darling that does more harm to the Black Community than good. Consider his campaign against Rap. Consider his comments in the wake of the Shaun Bell shooting. If I'm honest, it appears that Sharpton really doesn't like Black people - but is really focused on gaining attention. He's also systematically alienating entire generations of young Black people from their elders. Generational politics in the Black community is hard enough without the Sharpton/Jesse Jackson factor. That said, I would really relish the day when the media no longer turned to him, when no one listened to him, when his name no longer appeared in the papers, on the TV or on my internet news services. How does one go about starting a grassroots campaign to get that man out of the limelight, to get the media to stop thinking Sharpton speaks for/to/of Black People - that he's only concerned with himself, to shut him up?!

Three blondes were witnesses to a crime, so they went to the police station to identify the suspect. The police chief said he would show them a mug shot of someone for thirty seconds, then ask each one for a description. After showing the photo to the first blonde, he covered it, then asked her how she would recognize the suspect.

"Easy, " she replied. "He only has one eye."

The chief was stunned. "He only has one eye because it is a profile shot! Think about it!" He repeated the procedure for the second blonde and again asked how she would recognize him.

"He only has one ear, " was her answer.

"What is the matter with you people?!? It is a profile shot! You are seeing him from the side!" He repeated the procedure for the third blonde, then said, "How would you recognize the suspect? Now think before you give me a stupid answer."

After viewing the photo, she thought for a minute, then said, "He's wearing contact lenses."

This took the chief by surprise. He looked real hard at the picture and couldn't tell if the suspect had contacts or not, so he went into the database and looked at the report. Sure enough, when the mug shot was taken, he was wearing contact lenses! He went back to her and asked, "How could you tell he was wearing contact lenses? Nobody else here in this precinct saw that!"

"Well, " she said, "he can't wear regular glasses with only one eye and one ear, now, can he?"

My boyfriend and I have been together for close to 3 years, and have lived together for 2. we just recently had some trouble when i caught him having online affairs, we worked through it and i am 100% confident he is not cheating, but for some unrenounced reason he has little to no interest in a sex life with me.... and when i question him on it he says he likes to be coaxed into it, or that he doesn't always feel like having sex that he's tired and stressed out about "work Stuff". But it makes me feel dirty, and like i'm forcing him into sex with me, because i'm always trying to initiate it, and 3/4 of the time he makes some excuse why he doesn't want it... and it usually leaves me feeling self-conscious and depressed about myself, and I'll let it go for a few months then i usually end up blowing up or breaking down, but nothing ever gets solved. I've invested hundreds of dollars in lingerie, sex toys, books, games, get away trips for us, but it's like i'm invisible. what should i do?

For any Real American the answer to this is a No Brainer. I am a Marine with combat decorations, Real ones, not the John Kerry cut and run in my pantyhose ones. I went in today and i was interviewed by the girl who's position i would be taking and also the HR manager for like 1 minute? which I thought was odd. She asked me one question only why I would like to be an office manager? She then said for me to follow up in a few days time and she didnt say that she would be in contact with me but for me to contact them.
