It does bother me that some people get all their food, rent, insurance, education, etc paid for because some people really, really need assistance and cannot get it because somebody w/ 12 babies daddies figured out how to scam the system so they don't have to work. I feel the system is abused because how can someone be on Medicaid, get food stamps, be on Welfare and drive a Cadillac? That's not very fair, don't you think?

This question is not directed at foreigners, but rather at those Americans who hate their own country. I realize that we are entrenched in a massively unpopular war in Iraq and Afghanistan which angers many, but I cannot understand the unabiding hatrid of America by so many. Everywhere I look I hear Americans denouncing America in language that would make Osama Bin Laden proud! They say outrageous things like America is the world's biggest rogue nation, or terrorist state! They compair the US with the Soviet Union, and they denounce Americans as uncaring, racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. I simply cannot understand this self loathing. The USA does indeed have its share of deficiencies, but on the whole I think we are a far greater source of good, than a source of evil. Honestly, I don't know of any other country that during a war drops crates of food for the citizens of the country we are at war with, in order to avert starvation! Where did all this hate come from?

This is probably the most interesting as it prohibits thought.

Is this trying to wipe out legal problems before they happen by suggesting to people that thoughts are equal to deeds?

How far is term covet meant to go?

Is it wrong to look at your neighbor's house and aspire to have the same?

Is it an attempt to prevent crimes of passion by trying to make people punish themselves for thinking about another person's partner?

Where is the line drawn between recognising beauty and coveting?

Anyone can answer, but I am also particularly interested in anyone who has has Diabetes, CHF, cancer, Hypertension or any other life threatening disease. Let me know your nationality, what disease you have, and when/how you found out you had it... also drop a line about why you think these diseases are more prevalent in African Americans.

I've waited too long to have him vaccinated, he is 4 month old already, he's breed is mixed maltese and shetsu. He is very playfull and full of life before, now its the opposite. Everybody in our house is worried that he's not gonna make it.

I've been getting this message "Your sound card doesn't support hardware buffering". I'm running Windows XP Pro. I have a Creative Sound Blaster PCI card. It also tells me the same thing with the built in card on the motherboard. I used this same card on a Dell computer and never had that problem. I have also noticed a drop in the quality of the sound in videos and some mp3s. Can anyone help?

I envy the senior generation because most of you grew up in a time when you didn't have to have two incomes to make things work. Now I don't mean any disrespect by that at all, but in today's world you absolutely have to have both spouses working just to pay the bills. We don't have fancy cars, or even a really nice house, it's a fixer upper, but still it takes both me and my husband's salary just to make ends meet. Plus I have a 12 year old son, and I'm going to college full time. I'm exhausted. I called in work today just so I could catch up on the housework and rest a little bit. How did you juggle finances and raising a family? Did you have to work, or were you a stay at home mom?

I need to get a simple 6V circuit working with a 12V powersupply, what resistor do i need to get it working?

Do i:

A/ Double the size of existing resistors in the circuit(although im guessing not)

B/ Put a resistor on the plus side, between the circuit and the psu, and what resistance should it have?

Totaly hypathetical question. What would you do If someone killed a person you love ( I know a bit morbid) and you found out before the police where they live and you were 100% sure it was them?
