I think Richardson is the best choice. Obama has to much of his own support, and a women and black ticket, no matter how liberal thinking we like to be, would be a stretch. Edwards was tried once, didnt workout. But Richardson seems to be friendly, likeable, has credentials, and isnt to overpowering.

Not if Hillary's smart - and she is. Obama shares some of her weaknesses, being a short term senator who has a lack of executive and especially security experience. She needs a VP candidate who has indisputable military/security credentials and was against Iraq from the start. Two are available - General Wes Clark and Senator Jim Webb. One of those will be her pick. Bill Richardson also has a shot - great resume, swing state governor, and Hispanic.

It's possible, and wouldn't be a bad choice, but I think Bill Richardson is more likely. He's already served in a Clinton administration, so they're a lot more familiar with him.

I doubt that Hillary would "allow" him to be her vice. And I doubt he would want to. Hillary AND Barack seem a bit extreme and I think they both need someone who is a bit more moderate to calm them down. It is a shame that both parties have swung left. Liberals have gotten more left and Republicans have become more moderate.

This doesn't seem very politically neutral to me.
