I have read that there are only three real sports in the world; bull fighting, mountain climbing, and nascar. The rest are games. I suspect this is because life is put at risk. (That is why I posted this question in R/S category.

Im thinking about buying a radar detector and i dont have enough for a laser detection setting (not like they do much anyway considering lasers detect in like 2 seconds), but i was wondering how often police use laser vs radar? Is it even worth it to consider buying a radar detector? I have 5 points (1 ticket) and i cant afford another ticket.

"To nobody, O Illustrious One, can you communicate in words and teachings what happened to you in the hour of your enlightenment. The teachings of the enlightened Buddha embrace much, they teach much-- how to live righteoulsly, how to avoid evil. But there is one thing that this clear, worthy instruction doest not contain; it does not contain the secret of what the Illustrious One himself experienced-- he alone among hundres of thousands . . . That is why I am going on my way-- not to seek another and better doctrine, for I know there is none, but to leave all doctrines and all teachers and to reach my goal alone-- or die."

How can you be gay or lesbian, and claim to be a Christian, when the Bible states that it is a sin to sexually lust or wed someone of the same gender?

Do you only practice part of the Bible as a Christian?

I took 2 different at home pregnancy tests late last week-both positivie! I went to the dr.s office on friday for a blood test. The Dr. called today and said congratulations I was pregnant, but asked me to come in for another blood test to make sure the hormone was going up. Is this common? Kinda worried I have to retest. Thanks

God created man as his equal,
And in the most common Religions, God is talked about as a male, right?
So, based on the qualities of man, God would have to show sexual behavior (like every male creature), wouldn't it be the next logical step, to confirm God/Allah/Jahwe/... is gay?

My garden consists of a roughly 2mx2m patch of gravel with a metal table and 4 metal chairs.

(At least, this is the section of worry.)

Round the front of the house is a lawn, flower beds and even more gravel, yet my 3 cats and 1 dog continue to use my 2mx2m space to defecate.

How do I stop them?

Are there herbs I can plant in the area to make it less appealing?

(Or any other suggestions?)

at my highschool, the only form of release time offered to freshman and sophomore students is release time to go to mormon seminary off campus. I feel that this is wrong, for many reasons, particularly because it is unfair to other students, and the same opportunities are not being offered for other religions and because the church should not be allowed to offer classes through the school. My boyfriend is mormon, and when it was just us talking, he said he was impartial to the class being banned, but as soon as we were talking in a group with one of my mormon friends he was fighting me on it. I'm not asking who is right, but i want to know why my bf did this, and why, now, after we've finished our group discussion, he's back to saying he's impartial.

I hear liberals refer to an anti-American protester as "brave" and "so strong" when they say my President is a murderer or planned 9/11. Since when is a dirty, unemployed hippie burning an American flag a sign of bravery? This isn't North Korea, Iran, or pre-liberated Iraq. Nothing will happen to these people, yet calling America a fascist country is still considered inspirational by liberals, as if the idiot doing it is risking life or limb. I've heard libs claim Rosie is brave for her comments about what "really" happened on 9/11. I heard libs say Michael Moore is brave for showing an anti-American film. This is a sign of character strength for liberals? What if someone said "I disagree with Bush, but respect the democratic process that elected him." Would that be a sign of weakness to liberals because the person didn't mock America or burn a flag? Libs should visit Walter Reed and see what strength really is. Fighting honorably for a belief is bravery libs dont understand.

when i was younger i would have tiny puss spots but lots of them. Now i have MASSIVE ones and my tonsils are practically gone. My GP doesnt see the need to go for surgery as i no longer get a temperature or fever from having this puss balls on my tonsils. But they are there all the time unless i squeeze them out (very gruesome) and then they just come back. What could this be? Nothing too serious i hope? My mum has chronic tonsilitis but doesnt have these puss balls. What do you guys think?
