If you are referring to his former ties with Halliburton the answer is nothing. By law he had to get rid of all stocks or other ties to that company as there would be a conflict of interest with his position and their being a gov't contractor. That goes for all of Cheney's holdings. Any contracts, stocks, bonds, etc. that can earn money for Cheney had to be eliminated if there would be a conflict of interest.

However, he certainly has friends that have benefitted incredibly from the fiasco in Iraq and I am sure they will help him out - financially - should he need it after he is out of office. The whole gov't is a giant scam where big corporations bribe the politicians (ok, they make campaign donations, same difference), and the elected politicos do the corporations bidding. Sad but true.

Better question where did unemployed Al the bore Gore get money to build a 20 thousand square foot house?Other than a few slum rental houses he doesnt have a job,nor has he ever really had a job.

Nothing. In fact, it cost him money to make up the difference in taxes for the millions of dollars he has donated to charity as a result of the stock options he received from Halliburton upon his resignation.
