I hear liberals refer to an anti-American protester as "brave" and "so strong" when they say my President is a murderer or planned 9/11. Since when is a dirty, unemployed hippie burning an American flag a sign of bravery? This isn't North Korea, Iran, or pre-liberated Iraq. Nothing will happen to these people, yet calling America a fascist country is still considered inspirational by liberals, as if the idiot doing it is risking life or limb. I've heard libs claim Rosie is brave for her comments about what "really" happened on 9/11. I heard libs say Michael Moore is brave for showing an anti-American film. This is a sign of character strength for liberals? What if someone said "I disagree with Bush, but respect the democratic process that elected him." Would that be a sign of weakness to liberals because the person didn't mock America or burn a flag? Libs should visit Walter Reed and see what strength really is. Fighting honorably for a belief is bravery libs dont understand.

In American society speaking out against the policy of war has always taken bravery in the face of those who would call a protester a coward or turncoat or unpatriotic.
To oppose blindly go along with a mistaken war is just freedom of speech. You don't have to like it but you should Honor the right to have an opinion. The name calling and cheap shots on both sides are unfortunate and don't help understanding. Those that oppose war the most are usually veterans of war.

I am a liberal in your mind and we do understand bravery more than you might imagine. Obviously you are talking out your butt or you would know that General Wesley Clark is hardly a coward and is considered by your kind as very liberal. I served bravely during Vietnam. To make such assertions is to show your stupidity. I won't honor you with any more statment you are too stupid and stubborn to understand or to even want to think otherwise.

Bravery comes in many forms. You are doing the same things the Libs do. The supporters of the war do not define bravery. Standing up to your government is bravery.

Rehnquist crowned him by stopping the vote count in 2000.
And Deibold in 2004 via the "glitches" in the electronic voting machines.

That's not election via democratic process. That's fraud.

And it's not just Libs calling the Bushies on that fact anymore... the inmates are getting restless in your own asylum now.

EDIT:

B-I-T-G: YES! Watch the interview Henry Rollins did on IFC with two Iraq conflict vets. Their views are far different from what the administration claims the soldiers' is.

I've marched against this war many times.

I've worked my entire adult life

Conservatives should visit Walter Reed and witness the lack of support our soldiers really get from your president

You're an idiot and a coward

You are dead wrong. If you believe in Iraq so much, volunteer and serve unlike everyone in the current administration did when they had the chance just like, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. In contrast, those cowards villified John Kerry when he is a true war hero. Sounds to me like the ones spitting on veterans are the conservatives. BTW, criticizing your government when it is wrong is brave and PRO-USA. Standing idly by (or actively supporting) a wrong-headed president is ANTI-USA.

You really need some help.

"Bravery" is standing up to garbage like this question.

"Bravery" is the heretics standing up to murderous Christians in the Dark Ages.

"Bravery" is minorities standing up to violent Conservatives in the Cold War Era.

"Bravery'' is standing up to anti-liberal lies NOW

Most soldiers in the U.S. military aren't there because they believe in the cause. SOME are, but not all, or even most. The rest are there because the military offers them educational and training opportunities that they might otherwise not have access to. They re-enlist because it is what is expected; if they don't, people like you will call them cowards and traitors.

Bravery is not exclusively a military term. There is bravery in every day life that has nothing to do with our stupid President and his stupid war.

Once in the military, our soldiers DO NOT have free choice.

a quality of spirit that enables you to face danger or pain without showing fear. I would classify reading your mindless, idiotic drivel as dangerous and painful so it fits the websters definition perfectly
