To make a long story short, i'm a 24 year old male and i've never even been on a single date. I can't seem to get girls to like me in that way. The running joke in my family is that i'll never get married and my sister always jokes that i didn't "really" go to college since i had absolutely no social life during those years.

I suspected the reason for my misfortune was that I was ugly. I've had a few male "friends" (i don't really like them) tell me that I look "scary" and that they'd be scared of me if we were not buddies. I'm definitely not fat, so it isn't that... I'm 6ft, ~180lbs and i have a fairly athletic build. I used to work out a lot and I played sports in highschool. So if it isn't my body, it must be my face, right? So i tried placing photos of myself on hotornot.com. I was surpsied that the ratings for my two photos were 8.7 and 9.2. The most frequent ratings in each score distribution was 7 and 8 respectively.

So, my boyfriend and I are in love and want to get maried. As a female I hear a lot of other females saying how their boyfriend got them a promise ring, then the engagement ring and then the wedding ring. Is all this necessary? Does the engagment ring suppose to be more than the wedding ring? Are the engagement and wedding ring the same?? I hear all these things and not really sure what's what! Please help.

So yeah this is aggrivating me please help!
My desktop covers a part of the full screen. I can see everything fine. Like is is normal but it has like has a 2 in border of black like if you were to turn the monitor off that black. It's like my desktop screen is minimized like if you minimized a web page.
This is really bugging me just happened right now and not sure what to do if you have any clue what I am talking about and can help and know what is happening I would appreciate it thatnks.

I have a birthing ball and have read that bouncing or squatting with it can help get baby to engage, now do you just put the ball on the floor and squat next to it or sit on it and bounce? I can;t believe I am asking this, I feel like a huge clod!

Why does the sky appear dark to an astronaut in space when there is vacuum in space and therefore nothing to absorb the light. Sun gives out white light. And there is no matter to absorb white light, so sky should appear white and not dark? Because something appears dark only when it absorbs all the light from the source and does not reflect any light. But there is vacuum in space and therefore nothing to absorb all of the light. All of the books answer the question 'Why does the sky appear dark to an astronaut in space?' as "In the earth's atmosphere, there are minute particles that scatter only light of short wavelength, i.e. blue light. But in space, there is complete vacuum in space, so there is no particulate matter to scatter light and therefore the sky appears dark to an astronaut.' But I have mentioned my argument as stated above.

I have been sick for about 2 week, constant nausia and a low grade fever, light cramps/pains.... no other symptoms...it was CONSTANT and for the last week has only been for about 4 hours or so in the morning....

i have been feeling better the last 2 or 3 days and eating more, and gaining weight back (i had lost about 5 lbs over the last week)....

anyways, they did urine and blood tests...but no fecal tests...i was wondering if a parasite would have shown up in a blood test. thanks

I went on one date with a guy, and he is already saying he is interested in a serious relationship with me, and sending me txt msgs that say "I miss you" and "Thinking of you," and asking me if I'm dating anyone else, and saying that if we are a couple he has to trust me so I shouldn't date anyone else if I am with him, and stuff like that. And we've only been on one date!!!

Is this weird?? It is sweet? Should I be happy or freaked out? I'm used to a lot of game playing this early on, playing it cool and stuff like that. I'm not used to a guy being so straightforward!!!

It seems to me that alot of the people with college degrees that work with helping people end up having to take alot of psycology classes but not very many philosopy classes. Is my perspective on this wrong? Does understanding psycology mean you get philosopy? Is psycology more important because its an actualy science? Is learning philosophy more ment for someones own time then school time?

I really hate kumon!!!!!
It makes me want to commit suiside my parents won't let me quit it get's in my way of everything i mean i am on summer vacation and i have to waste my time doing kumon.I feel like am am going to die because of kumon.It always piles up and before i go to kumon my mom makes me finish it all even if it means staying up to till five o clock in the morning.
